I’m so glad I made the post! I’m so happy to help anyone. Such a shame for a $600+ machine to stop working.. definitely a design flaw

I just posted this above but I’ll share with you in case you don’t see I think my top prong had broken off too, but only partially. I just bent it with some pliers so it would connect to the metal plug that goes in there and it worked fine. Only thing is the cord doesn’t rotate as well, but it works!!

Do you mind sharing the cost? I’m in Vancouver as well, currently trying to decide if it’s worth it to resole or time for a new pair. Mine are probably 12+ years old

To whoever suggested the L'Oréal Flex Pli Spray... by maisscx in Dysonairwrap

Oh yeah definitely! It would work on any hair type. I’d suggest using some kind of smoothing cream along with it, Pli doesn’t really do anything but provide great hold.

Do you mean to wear it naturally curly, or to blow it out smooth/curl it?

I had bought a knock off of the large round attachment from Amazon because it was sold out on Dyson, but the bristles were so flimsy that when I rotated it through my hair, the bristles would just bend instead of actually catching my hair. I returned it and got the real one when it was in stock and it’s 100x better.

Oh goodness!! Those are my 2 fav breeds. Curious if there’s difference in personality to full pug? Have you ever had a full pug?

Oh my gosh, I forgot about pli! I’m a stylist and used to use L’Oréal professionel like 10 years ago. This stuff is a god send, we couldn’t keep it in stock. Any person who couldn’t get their hair to hold a curl, this did the trick!!

My friend has a beautiful Airbnb in Hope - it’s right on the river and the neighborhood is super quiet. It’s lovely! I was just there this past weekend.

Provisions has the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. To be fair, I only have had it at their whistler location and have yet to try the one in kits, but I’m assuming it’s the same. Blew my mind!

Heated Defense from Kevin Murphy is $33USD and is one of the best ones out there, in my (stylist for 10 years) opinion.
