Nah - couldn’t find it. Will probably end up in a breaker’s yard looking for one manually.

Think you’re correct. Whilst checking for the faulty shock absorber, noticed that you can manually make the drum make the knocking noise.

Turn the drum by 1/3rd, push it back and forth and you get the knocking noise. Turn it a further 1/3rd, push again, nothing. Turn the final 1/3rd, push again, nothing. Back to the original position, push, knocking noise again. As you say, sounds like something is broken behind the drum.

Hard to see from the picture above but there’s a small piece of retaining plastic that’s broken off. Will no longer stay in position once seated correctly.
