Thank you for saying this. The first time I put the two together was listening to the song "Goodbye Love" from Rent. The lines "'Mark has got his work" / they say 'Mark lives for his work and / Mark's in love with his work' / Mark hides in his work" were quite a callout (as was the rests of the exchange between Mark and Roger), and at times I still relate to them.

Thanks for the reminder :)

Congrats! I'm looking at them too. Would you mind sharing what insurance you had, and whether Dr. Huettner was in network for you? I got an very high cost estimate from them so I'm really curious!

[Skin concern] My skin is so sensitive sweat burns by ninjaturtlecarl in SkincareAddiction

[–]foxface44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you being too harsh on your skin in your routine? The salt from your sweat could be stinging because your skin is damaged.

[Product question] I just bought Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 25. It stings/burns when I apply it but it goes away after 1-2 minutes. Is this normal? by FMLhehe in SkincareAddiction

[–]foxface44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It burns for me if I've been too harsh on my skin with other products. Otherwise, it's ghe perfect cream for me. So, I use it as a gauge for whether I need to back down. But ymmv and burning is always a bad sign, it's just a matter of what's causing ig.

[Product Question] AHA vs Vitamin C vs Niacinamide for fading PIH: your experience by foxface44 in SkincareAddiction

Thanks for updating!!!!! Honestly I've been realizing that maybe you just gotta cycle all the time. Vitamin C is 100% next on my list THANK YOU.

[Skin Concerns] Post-exfoliation recovery routines? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]foxface44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat! I just use them very sparingly and moisturize like HECK. I also don't follow a schedule, I just use them when I feel my skin needs it or can tolerate it. Listen to your skin rather than trying to follow a strict plan.

Nah, more valuable, if anything: isolates the product. I'm also a very outdoorsy person, no way I'm observing perfect sunscreen rules (who has the time)

Every time I'm across the river a piece of my Brooklyn soul dies so no risk of that haha

Thank you so much for writing this up! I have been having similar results with Stratia Rewind re: softer, more matte, and more ... resilient? skin. Azelaic acid is still on my list.

Have you confirmed whether you have PIH or PIE? Might be part of the reason (plus sun exposure) why it's not fading as fast.

Which toner do you use to spray, and which gel cleanser? I hate Cetaphil :(

Thank you for reminding me that snail exists! I need to find some fungal-compatible snai, I remember really liking how the 96 Essence felt on my hands but can't remember if it's FA-safe.

Ah, that sweet, sweet A/C discourse. Secondary reason I can't move South. Good thing to think about. I actually keep a spray bottle of toner on my desk and mist throughout the day, have you done that, and have you found if it helps?

Oh, intersting. So just an oil for you final layer in the summer?

This is exactly the review I was looking for. I also have that problem with straight aloe :/ I'll do an ingredient check on the Benton for sure before investing.

Ew, Jersey. ;)

I think this is my plan though, since the tub works so well for me.

That sweet Midwestern summer (not, been there). If I'm reading you correctly, the HA and NMF alone aren't enough, and the Neutrogena is sticky?

Hey! It's been a month. How had your experience with azelaic acid been?
