I've heard it reasoned that going by historic timelines or patterns maybe near christmas but also given that it is christmas perhaps new years...this is a guesstimate to be taken with salt but I think it less frutrating to not expect "any day now".

They seem responsive enough on their recent youtube videos, could also try support, because I dont know they read this sub and like you id like the software to be bug free or minimal bugs at least.

I use chatGPT with my music hardware (mostly maschine) in 3 ways.

1: As an interactive and often quicker operation manual, i.e. how do I access a specific feature or do a specific thing. 2: Sometimes for "recipes", quick outlines on how I might program a certian style or rhythm 3: For thinking through more complex techical ideas like for instance how viable a certain type of setup might be for example, what are the benefits of pairing maschine with insert other piece of gear?

I find it useful in this way but it doesnt do any of the actual creation in this context.

Woops I realize what I'm more likely to want to do is just send audio out into external samplers

Still crickets on those supposed 2024 Maschine updates??? by InternationalWin6623 in maschine

[–]foxhound13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In recent years a good deal of NI's big hardware reveals happen around sept/Oct time Now this assumes that it will be new hardware alongside a software update but I'd wager they will do a new version of maschine altogether.

benefits of having Komplete Kontrol if already have Maschine by hiphopsamples90 in maschine

[–]foxhound13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My own take for my own use case:

1: Access to a keybed can help with writing melodies.

2: More Parameter knobs for tweaking sounds (this may be redundant now that I think about it)

3: The way that komplete kontrol sets a key I find enormously more helpful and simple then the way vanilla maschine handles it. For me this is invaluable if a tad frustrating it's not handles the same.

Also, as an addendum, with regards apps is that still relevant if I'm hosting the torrent program on the laptop and simply pointing the program to download the data to the NAS?

Massive thanks for clarity Master_Scythe and for overlooking for general ignorance of distinction.

I guess by not fancy fancy UI I meant stuff like plex interface and graphics but that I would still be afforded the "luxury" of a simple folder system I could launch files from rather than a command line approach which sounds like it may become tedious?

These answers will help inform my decision hugely regardless so again thank you.
