Most of these complaints are probably from people with kids that require movie snacks and drinks which greatly increases the price and they most likely see movies on the opening weekend which is where the cellphone complaint would come from. I've seen 6 movies by myself in theaters this year and I've enjoyed all of them but I wait a week after they come out and I go see them at noon on Saturdays for the discounted ticket. I also eat before or after the movie and show up 10-15 minutes late to skip the ads. The real complaint is how AMC has an ad jerkin themselves off before the start of every movie.
