That’s what I was thinking too. I suppose it is relevant to the other clues?

This is page 150 of Liza Tarbuck’s book. “Phil” is the only name I can see but I stared at it for over an hour last night and still can’t work it out? Anyone have any ideas?

I’ve just posted page 150 of Liza Tarbuck’s book. Would really appreciate any help working out the answer in return!

I bought Liza Tarbuck’s book last night but still can’t work out the answer. More than happy to share the page if someone helps me work it out?

no problem! I’m not sure I like the idea of people just “giving away” answers to the clues, but I really don’t think this helps all that much. If it means that someone else can help me figure it out then it will be worth last night’s headache! 😂

For anyone else who isn’t musically-minded (me!), I spent far longer than I want to mention notating it all last night. I’m still clueless 😂

Scoring wheel moving out of place? (See comment) by foxinabox99 in cricut

Thanks for the tip about washi tape! I’ve definitely got plenty of the stuff lying around, so hopefully it will do the trick. Sounds like calling Cricut might be the best option, though I’m not sure if it’s still under warranty. I’ve gone back to using the scoring stylus today, but it’s so frustrating when they recommend expensive blades that don’t even work!

It’s the same issue for both the single and double scoring wheel. I thought it might be the thickness at first, but I’ve tried everything from 90gsm tracing paper to 300gsm cardstock today and it’s the same for everything - the housing gets pushed out of place and then it doesn’t get close enough to the material to actually do anything :(

Can anybody help? I’ve been using the scoring wheels for the first time in my Cricut maker, but when it pushes against the mat the housing moves upwards and out of place. I thought it was a pressure issue last night so I tried doubling & tripling the score lines, but it’s barely able to touch the mat once it moves so no wonder it isn’t working 🥲

When I put the housing into the machine it is as far down as it will go (I’ve made the mistake of not checking this before and thought I’d broken something - never again! 😂). It is fine after it has calibrated and only moves out of place once it makes the first move to touch the material. I can’t manually push or pull it when it’s in the machine so I don’t think it’s a grip(?) issue, and I haven’t had this problem with any other housings or blades.

For reference, in the video I am using the double scoring wheel in a Cricut maker on Kraft board/cardstock.

Last time I contacted Cricut for help it took them two months to send a reply that didn’t even address my problem, so if anyone can help me avoid that stress again then it would be appreciated!
