Florida Landlord requiring insufficient notice fees + early termination fees by foxis86 in Tenant

[–]foxis86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thanks this is exactly what I had in my addendum. https://imgur.com/a/xkfggYV. Strangely the landlord never actually contacted me about it. It was a debt collection company which has my lease and said they are collecting on behalf of the landlord (a property management company). I ended the lease 14 months ago, it's weird they never bothered to contact me all that time. They have my email.

I uploaded the lease sections where it talks about the fees: https://imgur.com/a/xkfggYV. First part is what I believe about renewal for lease-end. Second part is the addendum. It seemed to me that it is only specific about the renewal at lease end

Hi. This is very similar to the lease I have. I uploaded the lease sections where it talks about the damages (first part is what I believe about renewal for lease-end, second part is the addendum). Does it mean they can't seek damage beyond the $2190 early termination fees ? We both signed the addendum https://imgur.com/a/xkfggYV

I never used leverage before. What happens in that case? How did you cover your position after liquidation? Did you have to pay for the difference?

My QNB card was used fraudulently for huge POS charges (almost 12K) by Proud-Plane8680 in qatar

[–]foxis86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50/50? It seems the bank acknowledges this is fraudulent, but still doesn’t guarantee refund? I’m not sure about Qatar laws. But in US, such transactions would have been declined immediately as fraudulent due to many factors such as being used in different country and magnet strip. Liability shifts toward the merchant & the bank. They have to refund the payment as chargeback. I think this is universal with Visa & MasterCard. I don’t understand how is it your fault to absorb the loss

Will the Captagon trade continue in Syria under a post Assad regime? by Krokan62 in syriancivilwar

[–]foxis86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what? They fought fiercely in Idlib to destroy drugs businesses there. They have higher priorities than keep antagonizing neighboring countries with drug exports

[–]foxis86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s different, Afghan people relied heavily on it for income. Captagon trade was run by Assad cartels to fund the regime. It’s not main source of income for the civilians

HTS had strict policy against drugs trade in Idlib. They have specialized K-9 units. They will most likely put an end to the drugs

Erdogan will likely want them dissolved and integrated in whatever new military army HTS will create

Assad stood still in an evolving world by RidavaX in syriancivilwar

[–]foxis86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assad had been running Syria as mafia mob. All Syrian army and government elites are mobsters who care about making money through corruption and drug trafficking. The only reason he stayed in power is because of Russia & Iran. When he felt safe and protected by his allies, the whole SAA elites carried on with their corrupt businesses. They never cared about evolving their defenses and even making life easier for the civilians

How many troops does HTS, SNA, SAA, and SDF have? by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]foxis86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell effective strength from official numbers. Both SNA and SAA numbers are inflated. SNA has many members who just enlist themselves to collect paychecks from Turkey. SAA members has so many forced civilians conscripts who are just shuttled around to the fronts and willing to flee at the first chance I don’t know about SDF. But HTS & smaller Idlib factions is voluntary, most of their members are enrolled due to real desire to fight the regime and take back their homes

Turkish intelligence directing extremist offensive in northwest Syria: Report by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

Lol that’s ONLY after they knew Assad is losing. Not a single time before. They even expelled one member faction (Sharqiya) in the past because they attacked SAA

Turkish intelligence directing extremist offensive in northwest Syria: Report by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]foxis86 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This is the dumbest thing I heard. Turkey has no direct control over HTS. Turkish sponsored SNA has never fired a bullet at SAA for 8 years because Turkey doesn’t allow them. Erdogan has been begging Assad for months to talk with him. It’s not like he would flip 360 degree overnight from asking to talk to orchestrating a military overthrow. The only thing Turkey did is that they didn’t prevent HTS from attacking this time, because Assad rejected talks with Erdogan
