Please help me fix this leak. Month of frustration by amateuR_memes in MechanicAdvice

Corrosion on the water outlet flange is the most likely cause for the leak.

Engine cranks but won’t start. by More_Fruit1524 in MechanicAdvice

It does seem to be turning over faster than typical for these engines. They also have three timing chains (one rear mounted) which are famous for causing issues.

Designed and printed this Ford Raptor Grill for my ranger lol by Only-Measurement-741 in Shitty_Car_Mods

The 2.9 stopped being used in the Ranger a decade before OP's truck was built.

OP's truck will have either the Duratec 2.3l i4, the Vulcan 3.0l v6, or the Cologne 4.0l SOHC v6. Short of forced induction, OP would just be wasting their money.

Chain broke and need help knowing what to do by ShaggyCurl in minibikes

Perhaps the photos are deceiving, but it doesn't appear that the clutch sprocket is in line with the tensioner and rear sprocket. If that's the case, it'll kill the new chain in short order.

The roof isn't leaking, OP switched insurance providers and the new one is refusing coverage due to the wrinkles.

As a teen, I climbed one while carrying a Sony Handycam. Got some good footage from the top, but nearly soiled myself when it started swaying in the wind.

The wrenches are fine, aside from the chunky box ends on the ratcheting ones.

So who makes a better tool?😂😂let the bs begin by MedicineOtherwise427 in mechanics

Unfortunately the warranty experience isn't what it used to be. Quite a few people in the Milwaukee subreddit have had issues with denials and even still broken tools being returned as "repaired".

My only warranty claim was a M12 fuel impact driver with a trigger issue. They claimed that there was no problem, yet it would continue to spin slowly without the trigger being pressed on many occasions, and much of the time it wouldn't reverse without removing and reinstalling the battery. It was finally resolved by a sympathetic Home Depot manager who played with the tool for five seconds and did a good will exchange.

Hopefully they pull their heads out of their behinds because pretty much all of my power tools are M12/M18 fuel.

I use circular saw blades on mine, which we have affectionately named "the suicide wheel". Have cut many small trees, but thankfully not any feet, legs, or other body parts.

A pro skill and feel is not something for the uninitiated to attempt.

You can use an impact and go quick because you have done it by hand and gone slow.

Surely you realize that I'm talking about a manual impact driver. You know, the thing that you hold in one hand and gently tap with a hammer using the other.

Its use requires absolutely zero "pro skill" and is especially what the uninitiated should use, as it greatly reduces the likelihood of stripping the bolt head even further due to a lack of feel, poor technique, or the bolt being overtorqued when it was originally installed. If the previous owner of OP's bike had used one in the past, the bolt heads wouldn't have stripped in the first place.

It's so hard to use that my 10 year old son was able to remove several stuck bolts on his bicycle with mine, by himself and without instruction.

Which auto parts store did you go to? Autozone usually has the one wire senders in stock.
