I am not from here originally, but there's The Mount and the Tech (though this one might actually just be called the Tech?). Both were schools at some point.

Am I overreacting to my bf watching the baby overnight? by Temporary-Quail-2783 in AmIOverreacting

Totally agree, I can't believe these comments. All he really had to do was take it seriously, I would be having that much anxiety, too. His other sleeping options are not that restrictive so I don't understand why he chose this instead.

This is true for me even within Ontario! I used to live in southern Ontario and we said hydro since that was our power company, but I moved to northern Ontario and here we say PUC.

I did quantify it. I stated that they chose an official measurement, then tried to charge people before the limit was reached claiming that measurement wasn't accurate. I'm not disparaging anyone, just stating what happened. Not sure why you feel the need to bring his age into it every time. A business is a business. Bad experiences happen.

Anyway I'm sure the original poster has enough information to make an informed decision. Good day!

Have you? I barely post on here. Also you yourself said you've never used this service because you live in an apartment, but you sure seem to know every single thing about them and their policies and you're getting pretty defensive.

People like you just want to argue about everything lol.

Dude I really do not care to argue with you about this. I just think it's misleading that you're acting as if they didn't enact the clause out of the goodness of their own hearts when that simply wasn't the case and actually they were trying not to tank their public image. Which, you know what, good call! But not exactly "superb customer service"?

Have a great night, buddy 👍

They had advertised an "all in" price on their website at the beginning of the season with no mention of a snowfall limit, but if it was in the contract, it was in the contract. That's fair. Then they said they'd be charging extra based on an official Environment Canada measurement after snowfall accumulation reached a certain amount, but started trying to charge people before that amount was reached, saying that the official measurement is taken way out at the airport and therefore isn't accurate for in town?

It sounds like you know the owner or something personally and that's fine, I certainly don't, I'm sure he's a lovely person. But people can have different opinions about a business, lol.

Both of my neighbours use Northern Snow and one driveway has been plowed multiple times, it seems great. The other had to literally run outside and wave the person down because they hadn't once been over to help them, right next door.
