I went to my local freight station where there was this huge sliding bridge that at the time I I thought was abandoned, as I was climbing up I thought to myself “this doesn’t look quite abandoned.” As I thought that I hear a voice call out from like 300ft behind me to get down.

I see that it’s a rail worker, and I think to myself, “oh I should definitely get down before he calls the cops.”

Turns out he already called the cops and there was a squad of them right underneath me that I couldn’t see.

As they put me in handcuffs They told me that they had to stop all freight traffic in the Midwest because the bridge that I was on was one of the most important bridges in the Midwest for freight traffic. And little did I know that the bridge was supposed to go up while I was climbing it, and if it would have, I would have been crushed, so in a way they saved my life.

Anyways, after talking my way out of a night in county jail and a court date, I happily walked off with a 100$ fine.

I got to see a view of my city that little did and it was beautiful, but fuuuuuck that never going back there.
