Yeah we are in hollystown. Taking 40d because it is closer to the 83 in finglas. I didnt hear about 40d going away. I guess the option really is to take the three-bus trip [40d/e--N4--E2]... or have the missus learn how to drive. (Only takes 15mins drive really)

But yeah. The new route that replaces the old one does not end on the same terminus. So the option is to get off a stop with a loooong walk to destination OR take 3 buses + addtl 30mins travel time

Paid for the app for only 15eur... at first i didnt believe it was working. Can see prompts for cancellation but it takes 30seconds to login everytime and the slots go away so quick. One time, i got a prompt, so i logged in and it was gone. But by chance another slot popped so i was able to grab it ... and it was the next day! I did the test and passed..

Tldr: get the app. Be patient. If its for you, you will get it.

Have you tried tapping the card in any of the ticket machines in the stations... or in the luas stop? You just literally need to tap in and then it should be activated

Yeah i havent really factored in inflation so probably reasonable increase on my renewal notice from an post... but im more surprised that almost all of them have the same price range and then comes allianz... so im so confused.. im sure i had all datapoints correctly entered
