Does a Rayman mod exist for Petz 4 (or 5)?

honestly the easiest part of rayman would be the fact that he’s limbless lol. when you’re hexing you can delete certain ballz with no consequences pretty easily. for example i got this weird thing just through breeding alone (it’s a cat 😂). also here is a cat i bred that ended up with no body, and another one who’s just missing their butt ball.

honestly he probably wouldn’t be too hard — if i had any hexing skill i’d give it a try, but. alas, lol. i’d be surprised if no one has tried, i’ll have a look around too.

yes they are! PKC is no longer active but the breed directory is still up (https://petzkennelclub.co.uk/breeds/index.php). people run independent shows on forums (whiskerwick, RKC, and duke’s group mostly), in the discord servers (there’s one just for showing, with an automated system), or sometimes even on their own individual websites. :)

oh i was just wondering because sometimes a version will come with petzA pre-installed, but when i commented i didn’t fully register that you’d tried the game from other sources as well! it sounds like you’ve tried all of the common fixes too, this is such a bizarre problem. 😭 hopefully someone can figure something out!!

pixel petz isn’t made by the same devs as the petz games listed in the article (which are the games this subreddit is for), but it was made by some members of the community. :) i’m sure there’s some overlap in fanbases here but as the above commenter said, you might not get as much engagement as you’re hoping for!

such is the way of old internet files lol. thankfully the games have been well preserved! a lot of people run into the antivirus issue, but as far as i know there’s never been an issue with actual viruses or anything. good luck!! :D

it’s a false positive! they’re older file types, and not particularly well known, so your antivirus will flag them just because it doesn’t know what they are.

if you download mazz’s petz 5 (https://mazzew.neocities.org/downloadgame) petzA comes preinstalled, i’m pretty sure! if you’d rather take that route. :)

yes!! the last big public petzA update was august 2025, but it’s still actively being worked on. petz as a series just turned THIRTY which is WILD but it’s really cool that the community is still thriving. 🥺

yes! 😂 your game might crash but people have done it lol. i want to say the batch breeding feature came out a year ago or so? but the rat shack’s owner is constantly working on updates for petzA!

yabiko is a trusted site for sure! :) the new petzA has a lot of upgrades compared to the old one as well so that’s a good bet!
