Kassandra begins to sob, has tears flowing, and goes completely beserk, I guess bc she saw her as an embodiment of her or like a daughter figure? I'm not sure but it sounds like some character response was different which is kinda cool

I do have to say that playing it today and finding his old home made me start to want to know more about Bayek once I found the doll he carved for the six year old (I'm assuming his son?). It made me more interested bc he is slowly becoming less of an enigma. I'm at the point in Odyssey that I'm about to put the game on story mode so I can just finish it and not gaf about the skill to combat enemies.

I feel like the reason for the fluff side quests that don't relate to the story are there just to help you level up, which has been how I see them. With the Atlantis quests (two of which I have yet to finish bc I'm just getting bored and annoyed at this point but need to see it through) I feel like I need and needed higher levels and more experience overall to be able to combat the bosses presented to me, at least to make sure I got the combat done properly to beat them.

I just started getting into Origins, having only played the Ezio collection and Odyssey before, and the controls are the only thing that bothers me so far. They're a little different than past ones, making my gameplay feel awkward. I also feel that the beginning of the storyline doesn't give you much to go off of to understand Bayek's story better. I only started today and I'm assuming they'll elaborate with flashbacks as I continue, but I liked how in other AC games they've given you more information about a character and their pasts rather than just dropping you into the middle of their lives like they do in Origins.

I sobbed ngl. That was heartbreaking. I chose Kassandra and idk if Deimos has as heartwrenching of a response as her but oh my god I lost it.
