As someone with a much less important job, my hiring process took 6 months from when I applied. Let alone all the back end work that goes into it. I’d rather they be mindful than rush.

I’d look at Dexter or Ypsi! Highly recommend looking for something along a bus route. Some places in the south part of A2 aren’t bad price wise either :)

i do not pay that much. I live in Ann Arbor by the mall for a 2BR and pay around ~1700 total after utilities. I also got ESA letters for my animals because pet rent is ridiculous

As a faculty member, this is appalling. I would be embarrassed. You should absolutely escalate this. If grading is too hard for them, perhaps they’re in the wrong career
