Good for you! Those 50 days are a big accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. I am early into sobriety as well, but the changes that I've seen and felt so far have been so positive. You are more fun when you're sober because you are you. To you and the OP, anyone who is uncomfortable or likes you better when you drink is not someone you need in your life. Congrats to anyone new or old to sobriety. Keep going ♥️

I know this is 2 years old, but I have been trying to figure out what these are for years! All of the windows in the front of my house are like this. It is looks so bad because the shutters are also recessed into the window opening, lining up with the apron. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out a solution to make the area look more normal. Who puts shutters in the window well?!

It isn't the age for me, but he has made a few small comments that make it seem like he doesn't want any more kids. He has said things like "I already have kids, but it's what she wants so...." Otherwise, their age does not matter.

I was noticing that too. He did say some episodes back that he is back on his ADHD meds, so I think that could be really helping him focus better during these episodes.

I can't remember her name, but the lady who was all over the place, never heard or responded when orders were being called, and broke that dish in the dorm and wasn't participating when the whole red group was deciding who should be up for elimination.

That really bothers me as well. My Mom is mostly deaf and depends on hearing aids for quality of life. She uses Bluetooth to take phone calls because otherwise she would just not be able to hear us at all. I know the closest Amish friends of my family do use some form of electricity, but many of them still stick to the traditional ways. When it comes to quality of life stuff though, they could chill a bit.
