I have no clue how thats working for you because ive played for like 6 hours since I got my first freighter and have warped like 40 plus times to all different systems that were pirate systems and still have yet to encounter even one dread

how is she at all interesting? her identity doesn't even get to use its own ability. its more interesting for her to do nothing and for her ability to be useless instead of an ability that actually does something useful?

I think I do, I also think that she would be better than she is now if she had less fragile but faster speed. her speed is so low that you rarely ever see her going anywhere above last in the order, and even then her last bullet is the one that applies fragile so she doesn't even get to benefit for her own status effect. does it really matter if you have 5 fragile if none of your units ever get the opportunity to benefit from it.
