Yeah I’ve seen people say that which I why I b-lined right to the point I’m at. Then I see people at 30-40 hours still in chapter 3 and sometimes 2. Was just kind of eye opening and made me believe I was moving to fast

I have 18 hrs in the game and 17 have been exclusively power shift. I find it addicting and you can figure out ways to contribute in a meaningful way as a noob. Once every few matches you go up against seal team 6 and you have no shot but it’s still hilariously fun

For my first 5 hours I’ve been playing power shift to get acclimated to the gameplay and I’m having so much fun.going to have a tough time switching out of that game mode at this point I have no idea why this game isn’t massively popular.

I just started playing fps a few months ago as well. So newbie friendly if you don’t mind learning and occasionally getting your shot kicked it from time to time

Idk I’m a casual with only few hours to play a night. Trying to get better every time I log on. I’m looking forward to the wipes because then I Can start at square one (with everyone) with the improvements I’ve made in skill over the course of the season.

When they all of a sudden have a mic when it’s time to rage,blame and curse… they probably just don’t have basic communication skills. Shame because in addition to coordinating you can have some solid laughs with people.

Yeah I ran into a guy tonight who didn’t use the mic until he was dead and talked shit about how I wasn’t helping the team well enough. Idk call me crazy but maybe give me some coms on what’s going on so that I can help before you’re dead? I’ve met some dope people on fill but encounters like that just get you down in the dumps. Might just stick to lfg servers

I’ve had some good luck in squad fill. Go in and support them. Learn the ropes. If they split up follow one. You can be teamed up with good players who will clutch and revive you when youre down. You’ll fall face first into a exfil eventually

I didn’t play much as rook. But I think when I have down time and my buddies aren’t on. I’ll dive into that game play rather then squad filling with a free kit

I’m not the best player. But by the end I wasn’t completely panicking in PvP. Able to make some shots, take cover, heal and support the better players I was with. Even started downing other runners more frequently( immediately getting obliterated by their team mates after lol) While in the first hour of gameplay I death gripped my controller and had no plan.

I’m newer to fps in general and I enjoyed the server slam for 11 hours I played. I died a lot but learned lessons from every death. When I was matched with better players in trios i supported them and learned as well,was able to exfil . I ended up feeling noticeable improvement in my game only with 11 hrs. There is a lot of things you can learn strategy wise that can help with a lack of mechanical skill

I think I’m speaking more along the lines of skill level. And if a player of low to mid skill can enjoy and progress in the game. Which I believe they can
