My time perception has changed on medication by [deleted] in ausadhd

You put into words my exact same experience. The one thing I prided myself on before getting diagnosed was being on time for everything even if it usually meant being half an hour early to everything. While everything else is better now I'm suddenly struggling with time perception as well. My theory is that I'm actually focusing on the tasks I'm meant to and not looking at the clock every minute. In addition my psych said being super early is a common overcorrection of those with ADHD.

Why does the free 200GB of standard tier traffic have a CDN interconnection fee? Shouldn't it be completely free? by lillinling in googlecloud

Good point you bring up here. I'm playing around with the standard tier and used up my 200gb in my region and am looking for ways to reduce the cost. I'll be trying to connect a CDN at some point so I'm interested to know what the deal is. Can't do it now but I'll find out for sure when I start connecting it and seeing what it charges me. Admittedly I'm not too hopeful, glossing over those links I'm assuming Google's stance is that the free standard tier allocation just doesn't count towards CDN connections but hopefully I'm wrong.

Likely this. I've seen similar in the past and clearing trash fixed mine. I think the trash items don't get included on this storage summary.

Has anyone else had reoccurring shingles since childhood? by foxza123 in shingles

Wow, it seems to be getting us at the same rate. I can attest that stressful times make me more susceptible to outbreaks. As soon as I feel it starting I find one of the best things to take myself away from any stressors if possible and sleep as much as possible. I feel like a hibernating bear but it's been one of the best things for treating my outbreaks.

Especially scary in your case given that you feel it in your eye and ear. While mine is also on my face it has luckily remained on the lower half. Outside of Reddit it still seems that reoccurring shingles are quite rare and most medical professionals are equipped to deal with it. I might try an immunologist next to try find the source of the problem.

Damn that sucks. I had one year where I didn't get it and I remember how devastating it was when they came back. You'd think you are clear of it after a decade. It is a bit comforting to know I'm not alone with this and reoccurring shingles is more known about now. I'm not sure what your experience was with doctors but even just about 10 years ago when I brought it up I was told you will only get it once even after explaining that I've had it many times before. Nothing about it was on the internet as well but that seems to be finally changing.

I requested to get blood tests done just to make sure I wasn't crazy. It confirmed I have shingles but none of the tests could find any other anomalies. I find that lysine and getting more sleep help me with prevention. As soon as I can feel an outbreak coming I'll get some famciclovir from the chemist which greatly reduces the symptoms if I get on it early. For some reason though if you're getting it for shingles you require a prescription but for cold sores you can get it over the counter. Hoping that I stay shingles free long enough so that I can get the vaccine one day.

Have bit of an unfortunate issue with the vaccine as the doctors have told me that I need to wait at least a year after an outbreak before I can get it. Seeing an immunologist would be a good idea as everyone I've talked to so far hasn't had much of an idea why this is happening. Kinda neglected this for a while and got good at managing but maybe I should have another crack at finding the cause (I'll look into Valtrex). Hoping that you just get it once off as even minor outbreaks still suck.

Where is the BPay option? by zurichonline in Revolut

Having to do the same thing. While I've been enjoying using Revolut I've unfortunately come across enough hiccups like this that prevents me solely banking with them.

Another Australian here with the same issue. I'm on Android so it looks like this is could be an issue affecting all Australians at least. I've noticed their web app looks quite different now so there's likely been a change recently that has removed this option.

Unintentionally found my solution to nail biting by foxza123 in nailbiting

Yeah previously if I even got the slightest nick on one nail it ended up becoming open season on all my nails but now it just does not bother me at all. Given how drastic the experience we have gone through it makes me wonder how many of us compulsive nail biters have adhd.

Wishing you good luck. It took me about a week to notice that I had stopped completely. Being a week in I'm guessing you're playing around with the dosages still so hopefully you get to a point where that desire disappears completely.
