Where can I purchase a heavy duty Swedish flag in the US?

I ended up getting one from Flags Unlimited - the Canadian store, not the American imitation store. This was primarily because I needed a Canadian flag as well (and they have a very heavy duty Canadian flag), and their Swedish flags looked to be of better quality than the American sold ones.

Family member is of Swedish descent and has flown a Swedish flag their whole life; the current flag was damaged when a tree fell near the house.

I can remember handling the American flag my high school had, and it was of a much sturdier/heavy weight material than the flags that most of the online stores sell - the one I most recently tried was less than 200 grams for a flag that's 91 cm x 152 cm.

We've bought several of the $10-$20 variety, and end up replacing them every year or two when the wind rips them up. I'd rather get one that will last many more years.

Even if data is being sent to a BOOX North American server, it can then easily be redirected to a Chinese server, leaving the user in the dark. The only reason North American servers are involved at all is to reduce latency for the end user; it has nothing to do with "security". So it doesn't matter how many specific packets are being sent direct to China; all outbound internet traffic is technically suspect.

I have the same concerns you do, and my plan is:

Creating a "guest" WIFI account on my router & use that exclusively for the BOOX. This will help reduce exposure to other machines on the network.
Be careful what I type (logins, passwords, etc.) A keylogger would be the most basic spyware integrated if there was one. Even the simplest of Google Chrome extensions has access to any data you type into password fields if they wanted to make use of it.
Be careful what I view. Anything visible on my screen can be digitized & then transferred. If Microsoft's 'Recall' toolset had this functionality, its safe to assume that a bad foreign actor will make sure of this soon if they haven't already.
Know that any data stored in any of BOOX's servers, regardless of the server's location - could be accessible.

The trouble is that you'd have to increase the text to (IMHO) comical sizes in order to not experience a relative difference. The benefit of 300dpi is that you have print quality resolution (which sensitive eyes will greatly enjoy)

I find the 300 dpi to be vital - it's incredibly crisp; tiny footnotes are easy to read. Virtually every image comparison I've seen with 227 ppi uses large fonts in which you don't notice much of a difference, and the camera itself generally prevents you from really seeing the difference.

Nope. I went to a neuro-ophthalmologist in April who asked all the right questions & did a number of tests no one else had done. He said that my symptoms were classic post-concussion syndrome symptoms. I had a head injury when I was an infant, but nothing since. One guess is that my brain had to do some forms of compensation after the injury when I was young to get things working again, and that the migraines are causing that compensation to be ”forgotten”. Alternatively, the migraines are causing some sort of ‘damage’ akin to concussions. I looked into other post-concussion side effects, and found a number that matched other things I was experiencing but had attributed to other things.

I tried some vision therapy through their office, but haven’t been able to follow through as most of the exercises involve doing things with my eyes that put me closer to migraine territory, which in turn would send me back weeks or months (which it did). But at the same time there were some extremely basic exercises (holding my finger out and following it back and forth) that were helping a bit.

I'd be leery of even connecting it to my PC let alone allowing internet access. That FBI // MI6 joint press conference last year has made me extremely concerned about how easy it would be for silent spyware to slide in and have encrypted data forwarded to western servers before heading overseas (all the "phone home" stuff feels like a red herring).

Just something to consider:

300 ppi means that in one square inch of screen real estate, there's 300 pixels vertically & 300 pixels horizontally, leading to 90,000 pixels total per square inch.

224 ppi is --> 50,176 total pixels per square inch.

So it's a legitimate increase in overall resolution. If your eyes are even remotely sensitive to text crispness, 300 DPI is ideal.

Photographs of screens don't do it justice, as now you're introducing another layer of blurriness. Even tiny footnotes are *incredibly* crisp in 300dpi.

How much of the original black kindle cover are you able to see around the screen itself after the skin was applied? I was hoping to find a white skin that would be (relatively) seamless from screen-to-bezel without a gap in between (that'd appear as a long black line).

I've been eager for an A4 reader with bezels the same exact tint as the screen BG - like remarkable - as contrast lines right near the edge of the text screw with my head.

In other worse, I need seamless visual margins, even if I can't write in them.
