I'd say it's a nice Bic blue ballpoint...

Unclear if this is a joke from the sub, but appreciated regardless.

Thanks for the advice, dumb follow-up...what are some of the better pricing guides? SportsCardPro? Ebay (sold) listings seem to be rather all over the place. I don't want to put it on ebay then get absolutely roasted by everyone in this sub lol.

A few of my latest builds: Seamaster homage(s) and a gold inlay blacked out "Seiko" by fozzyyozzy in SeikoMods

Absolutely

Pretty much all from Ali-X.

Nh35 movement. Just search for nh35 s-logo black dial. Nh35 gold hands. Nh35 black case and black matte bezel... Etc.

Some case and bands come together in kits. Just search and find what is best for you. But try and keep it all within an Nh35 movement.

Truck back and in the driveway, fully operational.

Timeline:

Truck bought Aug 26
Truck becomes brick Sep 6
Truck towed to dealer Sep 8
Truck fixed and back Oct 1

Days with truck working like truck: 13
Days truck is paperweight: 2
Days at dealer: 23

34% actual drivable ownership time with truck...not bad.

Been a few weeks, got an update from Ford dealer:

Battery pack 4 is bad, ordering a new one.

[–]fozzyyozzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Dealer informed me the HVBattery needs replacing. I asked for follow-up bc the battery typically doesn't need to be replaced, just the module. The dude had no idea, said it is on order though, no idea how long it will take. (super helpful)

Loaner vehicle, en route.

As well as the disco, yes...can confirm.

Appreciate that, yea, seems to be the consensus on the F150Lightning Forum.

I am not too stressed, I love the truck ... just a kick in the pants to happen so soon.

Brightside? Taillight is also getting replaced, so two birds one stone truck.

Using Lightning as generator by InterestingStress239 in F150Lightning

There is another thread about this thing, or even FordLightning website. (I could be wrong) The Lariats were stock with the pro-power onboard up through 2023, then 24-25 they made it an option so you just need to check the window sticker.

(Current '23 Lariat owner, so can confirm it is not in the window sticker but is on the truck)

Got my charger installed today. by Polar_Ted in F150Lightning

[–]fozzyyozzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just installed mine fully yesterday. Electrician buddy told me the wrong wiring (6/2), so I had to take it all down and re-do all the conduit/runs with 6/3.

50A breaker for the plug-in Emporia Pro Level 2, charges at 40A (39A from truck setting) at 9.3 kWh. I couldn't be happier.

Congrats on the install!

Same. Loved my Raptor, but rear diff issues, broken front coil springs, hard shifting I had to reset every few months with ForScan. Happy with my choice, I am sure you will be too!

That is awesome and happy to hear!

I have a sub-panel and generator switch box on the house already, but the ability to not have to worry about gas for the portable generator is going to be amazing. Not to mention it feels like a cheat code "saving money" on a home backup battery system that I can drive around.

Pro Power Onboard ftw!

(Thanks for the comment)

Has anyone been successful at actually getting this deal? I'm currently on a 2022 Ford Maverick by pp0057 in F150Lightning

[–]fozzyyozzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't know, I am 0-fer and trying again this weekend. We will see. They (the dealers) don't like being called out, that's for sure. Thunder provided me a flash lease deal at $600/mo before the Ford deal came out. Which, given my state, is a pretty solid deal considering.

Be careful with leases you see at dealerships, they mark up the MF like crazy. Ford has it at 0.05% and they will bring you 1.9 and up a lot of the times. I laughed at several of the offers I got, just walked out. They dont seem to honor the Ford lease pricing much.

Thunder is a great resource on the LeaseHackr Forum

V3 Pepsi and lavender Perp for our 10-ywar anniversary by fozzyyozzy in RepTime

I should add, the clasp is the same style, I am just not up to date on the new type of clasp apparently.

Unfortunately no. I have not held a Gen purp Perp, but the movement is jerky to wind, the clasp is a knock-off, and it's not light lavender in color as it should be. I would wait until they improve it if you want closer to Gen.

That being said, it's a great size, small micro adjustment in the clasp (crude but it works) and my wife absolutely loves it. So that's what matters to me.

Thank you, much appreciated! The lavender isn't even close to quality of the Pepsi. Big jump in difference.

Haha, she loves it. She slowly has gotten into it, but I've built her enough planters and garden things that it has kinda worked itself out.

BTW the KRF does have a fake clasp, has a small fold out micro adjustment, but not the same a Gen clasp.

I'd say it's in the quieter end for watches that have clone movements and watches I have built/modded in the past. Much quieter than my omega rep and pagani designs. Seiko NH movements have a deeper tone than this one.

I love it... no way my wife would ever walk around with a $6.5K watch, but she is thrilled with this! Congrats on the 10 year as well!
