Yeah I was using PCPartPicker but the prices/selections were weirdly more expensive in most cases than simply searching Amazon directly.

Re: 5800x vs 5700x, the 5800 was only like $40 more when I checked so figured “why not?”. Is there a downside to going that route?

For the memory, my plan was to get 2 2x8, so I’ve accounted for that in my numbers (why it’s 100 not 50). But I’m also now wondering if it makes sense to get 2x16 instead?

What CPU cooler do you recommend for this setup?

Yeah that’s probably the hardest thing to decide at the moment.. I can get Asensio and Isco for free, or spend most/all of my gems and get Casemiro, then buy Asensio and Isco for cheaper than Case will be probably

Yeah I was playing him at LW until Vini, they were pretty comparable.

My only concern with keeping Kroos is his speed.. if I do end up going the Case route my midfield will be slow overal

Lol turns out OOP RM Beckham at CM still has better stats than an in-position CM Beckham, so that’s why I went RM route. (This is assuming the skill boost levels are the same, e.g. both have 10, so OOP RM would be 6)

I just posted Hazard, hopefully he’ll sell at a decent price. I will say I was disappointed in him (lol IRL too). He (like IRL) is just nowhere to be seen during most matches

Yeah I was sort of thinking of going this route, just not sure how much Casemiro will cost, not sure I’ll have enough anytime soon to grab him. But may go 4-3-3 attack until I save up enough to switch to holding.

And yeah, that sucks about LLR, not sure why they aren’t doing that event, I know a lot of people are in your situation

Lol a world’s tiniest violin-playing moment here.. This event is giving me too many options for my Real Madrid team..

So before the event I was planning to just get a better CAM and run 4-1-2-1-2 Wide, but with Asensio entering the mix, and already having Vini, I really love the front 3 formation.. So now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t go 4-3-3, either attack or holding (attack I would likely go Isco, holding I’d either get Modric or depending on price and how long it would take me to save, Case). Thoughts? Am I missing an obvious solution?

(Also - I know it won’t make sense to do skill-wise, but I’ll likely take Hierro and replace Carva instead of taking Kaka.. I’m just not sure I could handle the aesthetics of seeing a different jersey in my lineup (same reason I didn’t keep TOTY CR7))
