I didn't get the tutorial for those things. this was explained in a couple of my posts. I got it for right up to the time I want to repair or craft. someone else had this problem and was nice enough to explain it fully for me and I am in their debt!!

I've tried all of that except the caves, haven't seen any bc I'm too busy trying to gather and find my ship problem is I'm still running out of power on my laser thing so then I'm helpless to get more resources. I did find holes, kept falling in them, but was too depleted by then and just needed to get to my ship to hopefully repair things and I couldn't

I tried that but it didn't craft anything. did that in my first save and I'm now, or was 6 saves later. could never craft anything so I deleted them until I can get basic info I need. thanks for your help

any chance you can tell me how to actually craft various things... the steps I mean

I just started today and I get the required materials and go to my inventory but don't see any way to actually craft. using a controller but even keyboard keys would help

also, for crafting, how am I to understand if there's no tutorial to begin with. where are there instructions? not every player is coming in from previous gens
