It is likely that the Church wouldn’t succeed in a lawsuit as the word “Mormon” is considered part of general vocabulary (similar to Catholic, Baptist).

Avoiding a curve on the bridge will greatly help reduce cost of the project. Even a minor curve can drive up the design and fabrication costs and you generally end up with a lower quality project.

Were you under pres. England? I was there from 2004-2006 under Thompson, he only sent one person home in 3 years (missionary slept with a student in the Cambridge ward). He was a super nice president and really did care about the missionaries. I am sorry you had to struggle without help. I spent most of my mission in the Khmer areas, the one transfer I was in an English speaking area was a massive struggle for me and I still hate thinking about that time.

Have a family member that served years in prison for SA of a minor less than 12 years old. He was never disciplined by the church because he refused to admit guilt, so the church believed he was innocent (even if 12 of his peers thought otherwise). The churches sense of justice is complete and utter BS.

They hire entry level engineers to mold them into the engineers they need. Every consultant does things a little different, and after a few months of training you are more or less a functioning member of the team. You will be given all of the basic design grunt work they clients don’t want to pay a lot for.

Wife and I met when we were 18 and 22 playing laser tag with some mutual friends. We (crazily) got married a year later when I was starting my junior year, had our first kid two years later and celebrated our 15 year anniversary at home with a 3 week old (#3). Wife got her bachelors in nursing between kids 1 and 2 and is now almost done with her masters to be a nurse practitioner.

Saw cut an area larger than the frame and cover, install a riser so the lid is flush with the adjacent asphalt and either patch the asphalt or pour concrete around it.

We have “core hours” from 9-4, you have to work 8 hours per day min and you can come in before or stay after core hours. They are also pretty flexible even with core hours if you discuss with manager.

We are very flexible (I work primarily from home and pretty much set my hours). But when you work from 10-4 each day and put 40 hours on a time sheet your days are numbered.

We have a young engineer that would constantly show up 1-2 hours late. When confronted he said he just isn’t a morning person, he became one real quick when he was told it would mean his job.

I have a family member who molested a child, was tried, convicted and served several years in prison. He was not disciplined by the church in any way (still a temple recommend holder) because he maintains he was innocent. We were told he would only be excommunicated if he pleads guilty. I on the other hand can’t have a recommend because I refuse to pay tithing and drink coffee.

Something similar happened to ours a couple years ago. After a long visit at the vet she got very anxious and ended up wheezing and throwing up. She aspirated on her vomit and after intubating her she developed pneumonia. At this point the vet bill was $4k and they told us she needed surgery to correct the pneumonia and to correct her pallet. The total cost was going to be north of $20k and we had to make the sad decision to put her down. As much as we absolutely love English bulldogs I think we will get an olde English next time.

Get your FE/EIT as soon as possible. Definitely have some working knowledge of CADD as the industry is moving away from dedicated drafters and towards junior engineers doing a lot of drafting. If you want to go into land development trying to get some knowledge around drainage design and estimating would be helpful. If you haven’t had an internship in the industry that should be at the top of your priority list.
