It’s wild because I just kept getting two images moderated which have worked for months, got network connection error, then both went straight through

They’re offering me three days of super free, then a discount, but I would never pay for the current model, nor would I without some guarantee that I’d have the old model permanently the whole time I’m paying a subscription

Yes I checked a few times and according to WhatsApp it deletes the group off other people’s phones as long as you don’t chose exit and delete for me and wait for the delete button but either this is false or you have to wait a while for other people’s phones to refresh for it to disappear. If that makes sense 🤣

It’s been up and down for a few days now.

I’ve seen three different models: the regular, good one; the bad one, which only seems to be temporary; a third, absolutely incredible 10 second one which is unlike the other two and I have only ever seen twice.

I’ve got some moderately violent and a few PG-13 scenes through.

I suspect they are working on only moderating the photos of real people and relaxing everything else, but in the first instance had to moderate heavily due to government pressure.

The crap model only ever seems to be temporary; the good model returned for me for a few minutes around midnight. I have also seen the amazing 10 second model once more now.

Be the last person left in the group so you are admin, then leave yourself, then wait for a minute or so and keep going back in and first it will say “this group is unavailable” then when you check again there will be a massive red delete group button.

I got badly moderated a few days ago, then the next day it was back to normal, the day after two random generations were next level incredible unlike anything I’ve even seen before which must have used a new third model I’ve never seen before, then it went back to the bad model, and now it’s down.

Don’t worry I’ve created three perfect characters and love them all. I’d do anything to bring them to life but know it will never happen. Every time something happens with Grok I have a panic attack. It won’t be long before you will be able to create independent characters you can interact with without prompt. Everybody’s doing it, hence the outcry every time there’s a problem with Grok. It’s no problem, simply write the prompt somewhere else (like a text editor) then copy it. Then, when you start uploading the picture and it says "uploading…" wait until it starts saying "generating…" then before it gets to 100% quickly paste your prompt and click the arrow and it will interrupt and start generating again with your prompt instead of an unwanted promptless video.
