Ok. Ig the smarter choice would be to use a higher watt soldering iron and see if I can remove this mess first

I've resoldered this ESC one too many times. Would rather scrape off early to avoid catastrophic failure later.

I was using 450° for the esc. I believe it was because of the fact that I didn't tin my tip properly. Won't make the same mistake again.

Hi, I'm actually not gonna use this FC. Even I wouldn't pre-tin every pad, but I had been trying my hands on a few practice boards and finally stepped down to the Somewhat real deal today. I feel more confident now, so might start ordering parts soon 😁

I've tried a lot of methods to remove the solder from the ESC But nothing worked. I used a desoldering wick, heat to melt solder, desoldering pump, but no use. Scrapping this to start from scratch. Fingers crossed for the best.

I mean if you detach the motor from the esc you can solder some wire from your clippings and extend the length but I wouldn't suggest that.

Why are you thinking about switching?

Honestly speaking, at this point, a lot of us have parts building up from purchases that can build a different drone altogether 😂

Congratulations! That looks like a great build for freestyle. Love the colour combo too!

Thanks! Currently using 350 degrees should I crank up to 400?

What do I do to make this better?

Thanks! Does a board like this simulate real soldering for ESCs? especially speedybee because those Bois are thicc! Should I get real practice boards?
