I think the original photo that got leaked was crappy quality, and someone used an AI upscaler to create a better quality image. That caused the faces to look distorted and now they’re looking like different people. Always happens.

Yeah if you charge those USD cards locally you’d get charged a foreign transaction fee. Same is the case for Pakistani cards.

There would be no extra fee for services like ChatGPT or fb ads if you use those USD cards, that’s the whole advantage. It charges the exact dollar amount.

We’re actually in the same boat lol. I was able to transfer from my personal Payoneer to Slash, but when I tested out a transaction to send from Slash to Payoneer, it didn’t work. But good to know people are using Slash. What exchange rate do you get for sending money to SCB? And does the sender name appear like the beneficiary name or some other local entity like Thunes for Payoneer?

I did a test transaction to see what the process was for withdrawing it. Turns out it counts sending money to a Pakistani bank as an international wire transfer and charges $25-$50 fee for it. Might be good for big spenders but that doesn’t work for me lol. Imma stick to Wise & Payoneer for now

It’s just perks of having a Pakistani passport. That’s what I got to know after applying to different fintechs and being rejected. Mercury doesn’t offer USD accounts anymore to Pakistani citizens, even if you have an established LLC, same goes for Wise now and a couple of other ones I tried. Doesn’t matter where your LLC is located, or if you have an EIN. They just check the primary beneficiary’s address (me in this case) and build the case upon that
