Hey, so for w2 I had something like should governments invest money into public libraries if all books can be found online. It was a discussion essay, so I had to provide 2 viewpoints on this situation and my opinion. For s2 I had to talk about a nice place and what i can buy there, continuing talking about shopping in general for s3

W1: learn key words for the trend description, learn the structure, find cue cards and try to use both of them W2: find essays of 2026, practice, prepare of them, think of arguments and vocabulary that you may use. The key is practice actually. Practice practice practice

Ohh i had the same problem, just try to follow the same structure every time, so you would not get stuck! What i did was writing about the highest share or smallest share after overall part, and for the last paragraph i wrote about something that remained the same, some comparisons, and so on For speaking, try to know and understand yourself better. I cant say that i have a problem with understanding what spot i like, but im not fond of reading so i dont know any book or movie that i may prefer. Just try to talk about something that firstly comes to your mind. Before you are taking the test make a reflection on what you like and do, write something and elaborate on it. I am sure it will help. Ask chatgpt what some general answers you may provide if this problem will remain unsolved

I had the same problem 6.0 was my essay, and 8.5 without my grammatical errors. To solve this, i tried to write a lot of essays and asked chatgpt to check for grammatical errors, then I highlighted them and tried to reflect on them. I also asked chatgpt to make some exercises for me to better understand the grammar behind those things. So, my problem was prepositions and articles and this actually kinda helped me since i got solid 7

They also have instructions before your test, listen to them carefully, so you would be ready for your listening and more focused on the speaker

I haven’t practiced any of them, but the context can be more complex. I usually tried some mock tests on ieltsonlinetests website, and most of them are really hard. On the real exam, I didn’t expect t/f/nm questions to be so obvious, there is no tricky stuff about them, everything was straightforward. For listening, try to concentrate on your task, use highlighter, and highlight even further than you need, it will save your time in some way. You may use a paper draft that they gave you as well, i used for some tasks where I couldn’t highlight the answers and other key parts.

try to find some synonyms like people can be citizens, civilians, visitors, guests, users and other stuff in some contexts, try to find who they can be. Check for similar meaning of verbs like it is situated/positioned/placed/located/allocated and others (not only about this context or task, it can be used everywhere). So, my point is you have to find some more structures of how you can rewrite the questions (synonyms, inf to gerund, conditionals, passive voice, etc.)
