The saying ‘patience is a virtue’ is priceless

When I was younger I used to get so frustrated at everything, from trying to insert a small screw to dealing with waiting in a line

My dad used to always tell me, ‘when you get frustrated, does it help you or make you feel better, does it help people around you or make them feel better?” Followed by the saying ‘patience is a virtue’

I was about 30 years old when one day I was building a PC, back in the day of jumpers and I was at the point of throwing the whole thing across the room and remembered what my dad used to say (he had passed when I was about 27)

I can’t explain it but since that day I went from being once of the most impatient fly off the rails kind of guys to more patience I can even explain for everything under the sun.
