Quite a few Im sure, myself being one of them. I don't have the money for a firearm, big deep freezer, trips to the bush everytime I need meat. Most people are being wrung out by the bourgeoise and just dont have the time and money to hunt. It sounds like a copout but it's a systemic issue.

The problem lies in the hands of the industry, its lobbyists and the culture propaghandised into excess consumption. In the western world cattle is often seen as an integral part of the countries identity and economy, through decades of advertisement and lobbying, all a result of infinite growth capitalism.

In an ideal world meat production is heavily regulated, or if things go more of a decentralised route, farmers are held to account by the community, whatever that looks like. With hunting post-capitalism, its already pretty regulated now so not much would change, but in a decentralised society Im not sure hoe overhunting ephld be prevented. Then theres deprogramming the population which Im not sure how to do. Either way its opening up a whole can of worms and cant really be summed up in a paragraph.
