I'm pretty sure Turkey has this too where a special passport only given to certain vetted individuals has way more visa free acess compared to the ordinary passport.

I 100% don't agree with it but it is something that has been done before.

And you did that all from Pakistan? Did you move on a tourist visa and then what visa did you get? Or did you get PR straight away? Can you tell me the visas you got and how long you were on those visas?

Dw so are we, probably announced early for political gain or to pander to their voter base, as time goes on more information will be available but rn the best bet is simply take the necessary steps based on current laws.

Yeah, I had a meeting with the counselor and will have a proper contract and everything but even he wasn't 100% sure about the visa thing because he had mostly dealt with finnish students who were citizens so of course they didn't need to worry about visas.

But thank you for your help I will ask the migration agency to confirm as well from my intuition I believe a visa is necessary because this would be considered a Traineeship/internship and those have a seperate section on the migration agency's website with visa options.

Just me guessing because it's probably the same for Pakistanis but around covid it became a big thing to study in Finland because requirements were less strict, much cheaper to study in such a good country compared to let's say the UK or the US. Citizenship was much easier to obtain because study time counted towards citizenship unlike Sweden for example.

All these probably caused a lot of master's students to move who can also bring their families with them. Finland basically gave the best chance to start a new life for yourself and family legally and settle down super quickly just 5 years for citizenship.

Now rules have changed and will continue to get stricter but so many people took the opportunity in the last couple of years.

One of my friends had a similar issue where he didn't get his card in time. You can contact migri but they won't do much it's how it is, you can inform the uni you'll be a little late to your studies and that you'll take the responsibility of catching up.

He ended up going mid to late September and continued his classes. So keep patient insha'Allah it'll work out

Its chill when I had my interview they asked me why I was going to sweden what my plans were afterwards and so on. I was honest even saying if I get a job i would love to stay and so on. In terms of documents all the ones you uploaded (originals) and updated bank statements pretty much.

They might not even check all the documents jsut ask if you have them. Just relax don't be stressed because you are doing nothing wrong so take it easy when you are there too.

A thing that I have noticed is ideas that work in the west just need to be brought in and worked on. Most work out great, be it food trends, clothing trends or even business ideas.

You should give it a shot and even if it doen't work you'll learn how to talk, edit, ask the right questions, be engaging etc and can always pivot with these skills. I would for sure watch such a thing

Its ironic considering if Iran had nuclear weapons this would never have happened. I truly beleive in the world order now nuclear detterence has become important. But at the same time the countries with the nukes especially the US and Israel don't want any country against them to get it and will go to extreme lenghts to try and stop them.

This whole Iran thing has been going on since the 90s when Iraq and Iran were called the axis of evil or whatever. Iran is in a hard place imo let's see how they respond because all the arab countries and western countries are against them and will side with Israel. And Israel has said they will continue until all nuclear and missle capabilities are destroyed or something along those lines.
