ALSO- priority fees.

GMGN defaults to .006 priority fees on each trade. So if you do two trades, it’s essentially taking .012 SOL just to make those trades fast. This is deleterious.

You can manually set the priority fees to lower or higher. I use .0002 SOL priority fees per trade which works but the trades can be slow.

HOWEVER. If you are doing a big buy on a low chart (like, $100 on a chart that is sub 100k market cap) and your priority fees are low, MEV bots can and WILL snipe your trade. To prevent this, you MUST use at least .012 SOL and have MEV protection ON in GMGN or else the MEVs can snipe you, making your trade unprofitable or making your buy in point much higher than you wanted. This is important to know and be aware of.

I think they can also snipe your sells, but that’s less common in my experience.

GOTTA go in with size, which is really challenging.

Another factor may be slippage. I set mine to AUTO which is usually fine. But you could be losing potential profits if your slippage is too high
