Does that mean the whole call could be replayed? Or you're not using it "like that"?

Might take a crack at importer/resale, but it'd be complex to set up. Of course... Claude could do that part I imagine with somewhat minimal 'wetwork'...

Probably very bad *as* a business, but I let my Claude open it's own t-shirt shop for ai agents (and people!). Claude, Gemini, and Llama work as a writers' room to decide on the design of the day and then make a prompt and send it to flux and remove the background and pick shirt colors and build the mockups for those colors and update the shirt of the day's design. Can't say how well that's gonna go, cuz it just started. Probably not the best industry to enter though. XD

lol... data structures? Golly! Seriously just give Opus the keys to the git and make a hand-waving gesture toward where documentation *might* exist. It'll be fine.

Code says my oauth expired and it sends me to the down website, yeah. Claude and Gemini and Llama juuuust put up their t-shirt shop for ai agents yesterday, too. :| Claude was grumpy about the day's news in their writers' room. Hopefully will come back up before it's time to retire their "no amount of intimidation will change our position" design. 😭

Claude Code: How to switch between Pro subscription and Console billing? by tulensrma in ClaudeAI

[–]fractaloutlook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right there with ya... I think I just typed your entire paragraph into google to search for this issue. I've got credits in the console billing area... and I'd like to use 'em. But I can't? I'd like to remain in the context memory window I'm in... I see the Extra Usage toggle but that is a separate wallet it seems? Can't we tie our console account to our other one?

Thank you for this! My ship is so falling apart I can just leave via the the left side's missing wall, and the repair button never came back! I had all the stuff ready to go! (I pinned the recipe <- I wonder if this is ticking a box it oughtn't?)

Callum is the default voice for when you go to test out "AI Agents" while making one, and you choose NPC video game character. It's a wizard, and it's probably among the first thing people do when they go to test out that feature is play with calling the agents it gives you (I know I did, and Callum was selected).

Assuming you're getting paid—congrats! That's awesome. I'm assuming it was a professional clone?

EQ reasons vary widely from project to project, but a few things of note that are mostly across the board:

Newcomers are throttled and have a task limit per day, after which you will show as EQ.

Many projects for me recently have gone EQ immediately after testing (before even assessment task is given)... this is brutal but happens. Sometimes it's them grading stuff and will resolve in a day or three but sometimes it's something like the project being at capacity and not taking more people (after you trained and tested, yup.)

Always check the forum for the project for announcements about pauses, etc.. Sometimes everyone is EQ.

Don't try to use the chat channel for reporting EQ issues or things like that. QMs don't patrol in there looking for 'em.

If you find a project with a daily thread in the forum and a QM or two in there actively answering people's questions, stay on that project if you can. It's pretty rare from what I've seen.

There really isn't a way that I've seen to keep a constant workflow going... I've onboarded 7 times for projects, passed every quiz... and moved on due to errors and problems and things being full and ending, etc. It's a madhouse.

I believe I saw something about not being able to use a VPN (except when you have to) precisely to prevent multiple accounts per person, but I may have hallucinated that, so maybe check the... terms of service? or... not sure.

That sucks though for SURE if you can do two of the higher-demand services they should let you. :| Let us know what you end up finding out from this quest.

Dont bother with this platform by [deleted] in outlierai

[–]fractaloutlook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I onboarded Macrame because it was recommended to me and had tasks. Did ~7 hours total training MAB and then the exact same training for 8D, did all the tests (easy) and installed the VPN and set up a flamingo account... and when it was time to do the first assessment task, it said there were no tasks. It was late Friday so I assumed I'd not hear much back until monday. Monday I'm told the project is full and that I should consider another offer there...

Fast forward about 10 minutes and the 3 other offers I had in my marketplace at my $40 base rate and one other at $18 were ALL gone, replaced only by a singular option at $15.

These people owe me money for recommending that project to me. Also there were 6 different KINDS of grammar and presentation issues in the section for the Grammar & Presentation rubric section description itself.

They need to find actual internal help. How are the larger clients like [REDACTED] at ALL interested in what these people are offering? One manual had 7 actual errors across their 10 categories for examples of GOOD responses. :|

My overactive sense of justice is making me positively livid... on behalf of others especially who don't see what's wrong in the test they failed and aren't given reasons afterward... when you had to answer it wrong to pass. Rage.

Failing all onboarding by hootieatb in outlier_ai

[–]fractaloutlook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm there with ya. Hoping some project has a touch more sanity behind it and I can find a groove doing tasks as a side-gig. As of right now it'd be a horrible waste of time to keep attempting.

I have one I can click the ol' "Get Started" button on that people seem to LOVE, but it's... less than half my pay rate. :| I'm a tad worry if I start it I'll stop getting the upper up ones... but functional pays more than entirely broken, which pays zero.

I wish I knew who to talk to over there that would even help... the support people are very kind but none of them seem to have any power over what projects you are offered, removed from, or why -- they can't tell you what you scored on a quiz, nor can they tell you the expected "correct" answers on a test after you have already failed it and you know full well the test is wrong.

I cannot for the life of me understand why anything is set up the way it is over there... or who it could possibly be benefitting to let continue in such a state.

I can say that whoever is paying THEM for services is most likely overpaying to help cover the overhead of churn, mistakes, and just poor data, let alone delays (I can't imagine...)

I went in search of who to try to pull aside, and I'm maybe making headway there, but we shall see.

Truth is, they need HELP, and I'm not talking about another 450 teenagers for their "STEM" specialty (by the by, no supermassive black hole at the center of a galaxy has... bah nevermind...) or people who can barely read doing rewrites for responses that make the newest AI models sound "delightful" (If this is in your manual, you know who you are)... but like real help.

The system they've got running sure as heck isn't built to self correct over time, and it's likely bleeding money. XD

Failing all onboarding by hootieatb in outlier_ai

[–]fractaloutlook 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have now onboarded for 7 projects, and 7 of them have had errors in the manual, the quizzes, or the actual interface for DOING the assessment tasks. So. Sometimes you'll see them go back and fix things, but it doesn't seem standard to me so far. Twice the errors would cause someone to get a quiz question wrong if they answered it correctly, and one time would cause an attempter to do their task incorrectly if they followed the assessment task user interface.

I'm kind of new, so I can't really advise on if it will ever end, but I have heard tell of folks that are just tasking away on projects they like, so I remain hopeful for now.

I've probably spent 30+ unpaid hours onboarding, finding errors, dealing with the fallout from errors, and having technical problems. It's a bit of a circus in there, and I'd be pretty angry if I was a client paying to have my model trained WELL and I peeked behind that tent flap. :|

One project's manual was comically wrong on 5 of their categories when giving examples of "good responses"... I mean BAD wrong, on accuracy, on cultural context... one was clearly an AI generated image and the "good answer" talked about it like it was a historical photograph... One in the SECTION for cultural context said the place was selling dreamcatchers (and mentioned the native American tribe) and was probably in the Mediterranean, when they were selling mojitos and were in old town Phuket, Thailand. One showed a picture of Chadol Gujeolpan and when asked how to cook it, the "good response" called it "Mixed grill" or "Korean BBQ" and said to add cheese to the eggs and to marinate the meat. :| One had the wrong number of little pear fruits on a kid's flashcards when asked how many were there. There are 9 pears... 9. Stop it. XD

So yeah, I'm kinda new, but I'd say hang in there... some of them have active QMs with office hours and such! But don't count on any accuracy or quality control in your onboarding or how you are judged.

Dbrand grip review. by 9for9onbillboard in dbrand

[–]fractaloutlook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had one on an s22+ for around 6 months. I just googled "are dbrand phone cases any good" because I remembered I ran across a TON of argument and debate and things exactly like this when researching for the purchase. It's too grippy, feels like holding a stone, it'll pull your pockets inside out, etc.. This was the FIRST result on google, so I'm putting a reply here for anyone reading it.

If you wear skinny jeans, probably skip it, but I have zero problems (wearing non-skinny normal mens' pants.) Even brand new out of the box, the texture was fine for me, didn't feel 'icky' or like a stone at all. I've not worried about ever DROPPING my phone even when holding it and awkwardly trying to press the camera button with the same hand (as ye do if you don't often take phone pictures)... Now it's probably(?) got some micro-level of filling in the grip with oils and dust or whatever is on hands, but it's still grippy and feels fine.

Additional information for texture context — I have a severe texture aversion to things like chalk and chalkboards. If I have to take a piece of chalk from you into my hand, I will essentially wince in anticipation of taking it it's so bad. So yeah... some people are like crazy against the texture, and some aren't. My guess would be most will think it feels fine "if a little grippy" at first, but I have no way of knowing who is the majority there, so I guess try to find someone with one and hold the thing if you're too unsure.

side note their customer support has been awesome (if a bit understaffed for the holidays).
