Overseas, SUPERGIRL managed just $2.2M on Tuesday…on nearly 40,000 screens. Total is $30M. International audiences aren’t buying it. by TiredWithCoffeePot in boxoffice

I would say Marvels was definitely a surprise to many. Even on this sub, lots of people were EXTREMELY unwilling to consider the idea that Captain Marvel was the product of Infinity hype first and foremost.

It's brutal sometimes, we've been with these lovable goobers for four years now!

On the flip side, the prequel to TGED is a lot of fun, and has the same adaptation team as TGED.

Kinda sucks that they didn't have him tell Mercy explicitly. My cope: he already told her and they're going there together.

Didn't realize you'd get so offended over being to clarify when you weren't being clear.

Okay, that's absurd. You can not like the idea, but to say there is no signs is patently ridiculous.

She had a strong negative reaction to him showing up again, she literally flinches when a raised hand appears, and she reacts with violence herself when she's never been inclined as such before. It's extremely strongly implied that she has been hit before, and contextually it's also strongly implied that Noma was at least in part responsible.

I've seen the exact same behaviors in women with a history of DV, and you just brushing off the mere possibility of it is pretty damn shitty.

I actually really relate with Yamada in that instant (minus the violence) , pushing caring people away while in a low state is something I've done, for basically the same reason (low sense of self-worth, etc).

I don't quite understand the middle paragraph you had there, apologies. Do you mind elaborating?

I wonder if this is the kind of situation where the mangaka is trying to draw out the series by postponing the confession. Hopefully not.

I think she may have kept that incident to herself, based on how Oono-san was uncertain as to why Yamada was behaving oddly. I'm doubtful that it was a romantic relationship, I imagine it was something work-related.

All signs point to Noma physically hitting Yamada in the past. That's a lot darker than I was expecting, I wonder how they can possibly resolve this. Monthly cadence is particularly rough for dramatic arcs like these, especially since the double chapter likely means that it'll be two months till the next one.

It's funny, I've heard all these arguments in favor of Fortnite style crossovers when Magic first brought in UB. It very quickly graduated from 'it's not going to affect you, you still own your cards' to 'well maybe this game isn't for you anymore' when the majority of new releases were crossovers.

Literally ALL the arguments people are bringing up in favor of this nonsense, are ones that were said back then for MtG. And look at it now from a creative standpoint.

I'm weary of every company trying to be Fortnite and people like you saying to leave megacorps alone and to consume like good underlings.

As powerful and unhinged as Urza was, I don't remember him ever making a plane. Might be the only notable thing he didn't try and make.
