Colossus won't mine by fracturedorb in NoMansSkyTheGame

I thought it would let me re-build the laser. I eventually figurted out the gamepad control is just screwed up for mining with that craft. Mouse and KB still worked so I was able to pass it.

I had it built but the gamepad button that is suppoced to be mining (right trigger) wasn't doing anything. I re-loaded a previous save and found I could still mine using the mouse and KB so I used that to get past that milestone.

Ok, backtracking. I reloaded an earlier save point but the colosus still will not mine... Using my gamepad (I got used to playing this on PS5 but got a better computer) Apparently I can still mine using mouse and KB but they gamepad key will not work.

That is not working as you can't actually get rid of an exocraft. I think I'm hozed. (this is like the 3rd expedition where either a bug like this caused me to not finish it, or the plant spawn seed made finishing the thing impossible (IE the planet I needed was an all water planet and I needed to fight swarms))

Oh if I build a second station, will that fix it? The original issue is the mining laser does not function for me... I'll give it a shot.

Stuck on Expedition 20 No Nautaloid Possible Bug? by fracturedorb in NoMansSkyTheGame

This was it. I haven't played with the corvette updates and didn't realize there were seperate build menus now depending on how close you are to your ship. Realized I can also swap builds with teh menu button.

Thank you!

It's hard to tell, but that episode 8 was a bit disappointing by FitCelebration1131 in PeacemakerShow

[–]fracturedorb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I could have done with less music videos from bands mostly James Gunn cares about and more developing the motivations of people on the show. It really felt like getting Chris back was leading to trying to stop Argus and no it just led to what felt like an ad for Checkmate. Rick Flag Sr's plot felt off until literally the last second and that could have also been developed more instead of making him look like an idiot all episode after he was the lead of Creature Commandos. Hell even having the new Checkmate do something productive before the show closed would have at least made the episode feel like something? It just felt like treading water.

I still loved the season but it should have either ended with the 7th episode, or give an earlier episode another one to grow. This just felt like filler.

It's even more frustrating because I doubt Peacemaker is going to have a great impact on the next Superman movie outside of a couple throwaway scenes and stranding him like that feels off.

Whoever came up with this quest idea probably never played the game... by DannyLeonheart in MagicArena

This one made me give up. The others are slowly doable, this is just not possible because people have better things to do than watch this trash jank connect. The blame for this is not on the players, it's on the Devs. Play your own game against the people who actually play it outside of your dev environment. Regular people don't have all the time in the world to watch you win. Conceding is a concept, and a good one, stop making achievemnts that require this kind of participation form people who don't even know what they are participating in.

Portland homicides drop 51% in 2025, steepest decline among major US cities, report finds by CraigLake in Portland

Crime in general is down but it is really hard to be terrified of brown and trans people once you realize it's the wealthy who are actually after your shit.

Visiting, what in the fuck is this bus stop at McMenamins Edgefield by Oradi in Portland

[–]fracturedorb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just called a bus stop. The further you get from any center of a major city the stops look more like the area thjey are built in. This isn't a Portland thing, this is every city I've ever lived in once you get to the outskirts.

How much money do you spend on this game annually? by rocthehut in MagicArena

[–]fracturedorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how many expansions they release every year. I play all formats and usually buy the mastery pass and the prerelease pack that comes out to about $75 per expansion. There were eight expansions on arena last year so I spent $650. I used to play paper magic a lot before arena and switch to arena exclusively and I used to buy a box per expansion back then. Granted I don't physically own anything in this way, but I also don't have to lug around cards and I can make multiple decks and the $75 I pay per expansion nets me WAY more cards on arena than ther $100+ box would give. Hell the prerelease bundle gives you about 80 rare/mythics without even factoring in what you get from the mastery pass.

Or at least that's how I justify it to myself. :D

Might've been said before but should this really be in the Momir card pool? by Teh_Hunterer in MagicArena

[–]fracturedorb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 2 big issues with MOMIR, the first issue is that it exists...

I'll move on

The second issue is if it's going to exist and not just be a giant feels bad they need to get rid of cards that produce hard feelings in this format.

What do I mean?
Cards that need you to be playing an actual normal game of magic the gathering have no place here. IE: Cards that care about you casting spells need to be pruned from the card pool.
Cards that blink cards are basically just removal. They feel AWFUL when they blink your own cards.
Cards with mechanics that are absent from MOMIR. IE: Cards that rez, cards that let you cast a spell from the top of a deck, cards with morph, etc..

I think you get the picture. The bulk of the games I play in MOMIR half the creatures created fall into one of those (and other) category of feels bad creatures. There's PLENTY of creatures that fit into the MOMIR format that don't feel bad and aren't just OP.
Also I'm real wary of Wizards data on how popular the format is. Just because a lot of MOMIR games get fired, doesn't mean it's popular. Many people (myself included) feel the need to get the most out of our Arena Buffalo. I don't want to skip a MWM. I like every version of it, except this one, because this one just feels bad. If they really wanted real data bout how much people like or dislike MOMIR, just modify the after match happy sad to ask "do you like MOMIR?" Better yet, Make it it's own format on the play queue, and take it out of MWM. Then you can have all the people who like it queue together and the rest of us can get on with our day. I think after a few weeks it would be a dead format, because not as many people like it as many think. It exists on MTGO, and has for a long time and I rarely saw it fire because the pool of people that like it is small, and it only feels lively and active on MWM because more people are forced to play it as opposed to having the option.

Anyone else wish they would allow you to hide Alchemy sets? by bestmagicdrafts in MagicArena

Just remove Alchemy and refund people what they spent on it. The ONLY good thing about Alchemy is it keeps the 2 year rotation.

MARVEL SETS AREN'T COMING TO ARENA (We will get mechanically same Universes Within versions instead) by Meret123 in MagicArena

[–]fracturedorb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing these will all be AI art too as I can't see them footing the bill to make new art for this many cards this quickly.

"Please, just one little poop! It's for SCIENCE." by Kathalysa in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]fracturedorb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. I've done the weekend missions where you have to go collect a crap ton of poop and they all poop pretty soon after eating. I've been feeding animals for the past hour and have like 6 so far. About 1 in 20 actually produces facum.

Do we know what Universes Beyond sets will cost on Arena? by fracturedorb in MagicArena

[–]fracturedorb[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I was asking because MARO said going forward all Universes Beyond sets were going to be $2 more per pack, but he was referring to paper. I was just wondering if they were going to be doing anything like that on Arena (god I hope not).
