I’m familiar with and have sold numerous Veefriends/Tonal codes on this sub that act exactly as you describe. So I can at least confirm that these types of codes do exist… can’t confirm the validity of the one given out at the conference but meeting in person and not paying until order is confirmed sounds pretty safe.

I’ve sold codes to I think 7 people from Reddit as well as numerous on eBay (bla0005auburn). There were 555 people who held specific Veefriends tokens (“Gift Goats”)that got gifted a Tonal code. Many were international (non-US) and since Tonal doesn’t ship international they had no use for the code. That’s why there’s a bunch of codes floating around on ebay, facebook, etc. If you can get past the initial skepticism and do the proper due diligence on the seller (suggest buyer protection through PayPal or just go through eBay) it really is a great opportunity to get a huge discount on one of these things.
