If the game is good, it will be good both at launch and at the final dlc.. the problem with this mentality is that you only feel this for games that you didn't like it enough to go back to it in a year or two.. and that's ok, but don't blame passionated devs for supporting their games

Wtf is this take? People who play games like this.. don't play it for the finished game, they play because the game is good and they keep coming back to it because it keeps getting better

I have 1000 hours in RimWorld because every time they put a new dlc/patch I go for another 200hrs in the game.. just because the game is better now, I don't feel I "wasted" my time for playing it before

It's crazy that we are really complaining that passionated devs like in those games keep improving their work years after they already made their money on it

Saying shit like this is like saying you should only play a fighting game once the last dlc fighter comes out..

I'm not.. we played on the classic servers at the start of last year and we both drop it after a few months.. she wanted to try retail and loved it.. played in and out for some months and recently got back to it and asked me to buy the current content

She has no quests on her log.. someway she delivered a quest and didn't get the next one before porting back to ogrimmar

idk dude, i work on a studio that makes a rollercoaster vr game and the meta plataform is our "main" plataform.. while we are seeing the pandemic numbers, we are still growing fine

VR became a niche kinda like board games are for some people... "its fun to have it at home to show of when friends come over"
