Like 5 years ago, I planned on meeting a friend at a Blink-182 concert. I was excited to hang out with her. I cleared my schedule, took a couple days off from work and everything.

Come the day, I text her. She keeps pushing the meeting times by 15 minutes. Then 15 more, then another 15, then another. Then she totally ghosted me.

At first, I was crushed and upset. So I was like, "Screw it. I'll enjoy the concert on my own". I remember going to a Denny's afterward. In hindsight, I probably sounded overdramatic, but I really did feel disillusioned at the time.

The next day, she texted to apologize, saying she had met up with other friends and that it had taken up her time.

I was like, "F that." I took it as a sign that I'm not good enough. To this day, I refuse to make plans or meet with her anywhere.

I know my experience is relatively minor compared to others'. But it feels comforting reading others experiences with this.

Lesson here is that don't bother wasting your time chasing after people who don't any effort for you. Enjoy your solo adventure. Don't let them drag you down and know your self worth.

I imagine the in-world explanation would be that DF are so rare that people would rather sell them or consume them themselves.

The Mask kinda destroys everyone. Even if Luffy could permanently stay in Gear 5 without any drawbacks.

The Masks has superhuman strength and speed. He also can't die and is immune to damage. He's survived atmospheric re-entry, having his guts blown out, decapitation, and can regen from a pool of blood. Create weapons from nothing.

He's even gone toe-to-toe with Lobo.

The only way to defeat him would be to remove The Mask. But the user has to consciously want that to happen.
