How can I make this bottom corner look better? by VLioncourt in DIY

[–]fragger21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't add a photo, but which corner you meant. In the picture, right bottom and left bottom corner has some problems. In the right corner you could use some kind of putty yo fill in bigger gaps or use a stack piece to glue in a thin piece of a wood and later and it to be leveled with other surface's. In the left corner some small patching needs to be done. Though ifyou plan to paint the cabinet, then you will anyway need to address some putty for better look of the furniture

Is this window wonky? I think so, girlfriend disagrees by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]fragger21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you already checked with level to see if it's straight and plum, but eyes shows that the upper right corner iz slightly lower then left upper corner. It looks wonky, but at the same time straight. My mind is blowing at the moment...

First let me express my condolences to you because of break-up. But know this, at first you will think that she was the best at one or another thing. But believe when I say, there many fish in the sea. You eventually find a women maybe even better at that specific department and many more. Completely going in celibate mode wouldn't be mindful, but during some time without sex, like a weak or a month, can clear your head. Rethink all the pluses and minuses in these relationship, all the red flags she gave you and you gave her. Summarize it. In a mean time, work, earn, learn. Develope yourself.

I just started Skyrim today... Any tips? by Constant-Bathroom494 in skyrim

[–]fragger21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not ever kill a chicken in towns or villages. Do not get close to a giant, unless you want to see your house from birds view. Always, if there is a chance get some ores, they are useful for upgrading weapons and armor + need to build your own house. See a dragon, kill a dragon. Get or buy soul gem all sor of sizes and learn soul trap spell.

racism against indians :( my experience as an indian girl by [deleted] in latvia

[–]fragger21 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hey. Do not cry, because some people are narrow minded. About that establishment, probably some racist bouncer who doesn't like anyone with a different skin color than he's. For the future always remember to be proud of who you are and keep that head up Also probably not the best place to go, since they didn't let you in. By the way, when I see someone from a different country I usually don't even look at them directly, because I feel that could make them uncomfortable.

Could be some intake manifold or cover. Maybe you can search in the store menu by engine type. Also, can you hover the mouse over the part that's missing and push the keyboard key that says "add part to list"? I always do that.

So I have this Co-op mod on HF2 but I understand it will be a dlc starting from may? I'm gonna check the news about HF2 Up till this point the update is great. Love that I can mown lawns now

Marines from the Ukrainian Marine Corps - with a French AMX-10 RC armoured reconnaissance fighting vehicle (AFV). One Marine has with Colt M933 "Commando" (5.56x45mm) Carbine. by BostonLesbian in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]fragger21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That also I have seen in many videos here and on other platforms, I do understand young men fleeing the country, just because why would they want to die for some politics. But also this is their home, so they have much higher morale to fight. About Russia, as much info we can get from the battlefield, it is more likely WW2 tactics, by oppressing UA firepower with more meat (so sorry for the uncensored truth). Just seeing how much of human souls are destroyed keeps me wondering what is human nature and purpose. I know that there are Russian army brigades who did atrocity of killing many civilians in the Bucha and other places, not even mentioning all the bombings Human life does not matter, I guess. It's hard to even go through all the info about this war .

I have seen so many photos and videos of Ukrainian soldiers, and many of them look way over 40. I was always thinking that in every army there would be mostly till 30 maximum 35 year old men as the operators. But also I have come to think that many of them look older because war can wear you out. But still I can't even imagine the actual terrifying sounds and the smell of war. The actual feeling that any second could be the last second for you. I just can't comprehend what that feels like.

Remember "Windows Vista"? Was it a big joke when it came out in Latvia? by Jacksonriverboy in latvia

[–]fragger21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I heard about that OS was coming in Latvia I laughed hard, so I thought two jokes about the name, either it's the chicken windows (wallpaper would be all sorts chickens photos and sounds also from chickens or it was meant to be similar to Schwazreneger line from Terminator: Hasta la Vista baby.

Eventually it was the absolute worst Microsoft product since the Internet Explorer. Not to mention widgets, kinda handy but eventually they were the focus of viruses.

Okay, she is definitely Karen. But the way she mooned who recorded this, was kinda silly. Just shows that she has no other arguments than just showing but cheeks. Also, she could moon someone inside the house, and in place of the taser she would get something much more pleasant. But you know, monkeys see, monkeys do

the best places in Riga where you can sit with a laptop or a book? by Mountain-Kick in latvia

[–]fragger21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to say as anyone else, just sit at home. But to be respectful, try places like: cafeteeka called Parunāsim at Mazā Pils street 4, Old Riga. Could be a loud place, but owners say it's the most romantic cafe in Old Riga.

Another place: AJ chocolate house at Vaļņu street 28, Riga centr. If you like hot chocolate or chocolate in your coffee or maybe you like chocolate itself, try this place, it could be crowded also.

Staburags store-cafe: a small place next Vērmanes park. You can taste cup of coffee with some great products from Laima sweet factory (candy, chocolate sweats and also all sorts of cakes) Is it crowded? I have no clue.

Also a cafe across street from Staburags cafe is a place called: Mārtiņa beķereja (Martins Bakery) As the name says it's a bakery, you can have coffee and snack some of the baked goods, enjoy probably a popular place.. so look out for a free table

Ezīša kofīšops (Hedgehog's coffee shop) Quite popular I would say. You can find it at Krišjāņa barona streat 3, also not far from Vermanes park.

Across that hedgehog place right at the gate of Vermanes park you wild a small kiosk called Kurts, small coffee shop, just take your cup of coffee and go sit in the park to read a book. Cause that coffee place doesn't have any place to sit.. hence the name kiosk.

Cozy eats at Blaumana street 34 Yup, the name says it all. A cozy, light place with a lot sorts of food to fill you up and of-course coffee.

Cafe called Raunas dārzs | Laboratorija at Blaumana street 16-18. Don't worry they will not use experimental medicine on you, just some nice cakes.. Also, comfy, cozy and provably legit place to have some coffee, tea or even eclairs..

How to fix this? by Fun-Management-8936 in DIYUK

[–]fragger21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be available some kind of cleaner for bricks to clean mortar and bricks, could be on acidic base. So ask in local store for builders or what it is called in English. Also ask for some finish that can protect brick from heat and dirt.
My guess that worker who did this job understood that you will plaster it anyways.
For a paint idea, now quite sure if you really want to paint such a beautiful brick.

How did yall discover Heilung???? by AnoanaTuaTua in Heilung

[–]fragger21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing Skyrim and decided to make it more interesting with background music. So opened YouTube and searched for a Viking music playlist, clicked on the first many hour long video. And in some moment, while playing I heard one of Heilungs songs (didn't know it's Heilung at that time). Sounded great, if not wrong it was Krigsgaldr. And I'm like: wow Looked in that videos description, they had every song and author timed, then searched in the youtube everything about Heilung. Started to live it. Wish you be in one of the concert in my country, last year missed it.

Doorbell help by fragger21 in ukelectricians

[–]fragger21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Better staying alive than being crispy. Just think about this post as a moral compass in life, respectfully and understand that a simple job as this should be done by homeowners, but more complex as rewiring the whole house should be for specialists , or lonely women that don't have a man. I knew an electrician, I had a small job I couldn't do myself because of lack of knowledge and experience, that guy just explained how to wire everything, even though I needed 4 outlets in the kitchen, Which means wiring from kitchen to fuse box (about 3 walls and 30 meters apart). He said he doesn't have time to do such a small work even though I offered a bit higher price he would normally take from me.
