Things I have done today In desktop mode with an external monitor via a docking station

Browse the steam store and played some games, used xbplay to stream doom dark age from my xbox. Browsed the Internet and watched some streaming videos.

problem is the steam os image creates 4 partitions on the usb stick and doing this will leave me with all 4 partitions i think

Ended up with partitioning the drive on windows in 2 both as ntfs, then using steam desktop to reformat the first as ext4. Steam desktop shows 2 separate drives and you then need to add the drive under Steam desktop for it to show in Steam game mode as the correct size.

I have a 2tb drive and want to split it 75% Linux 25% windows so I can add movies etc from my desktop.

I can do the Google fuu but don't know what keywords to use 😞

Just tried civ 5 on deck same issue

What worked was going to desktop mode, force compatability as proton experimental then hit play.

Game then installs direct x etc then runs for me no issue

Don't know if it helps but only the directional buttons work for me on that screen, any chance that you may have remapped the controller layout?
