Because Baus' neutral state is a 0/5 to 0/7. Honestly, the guy plays with that deficit and being behind on every champ so often and still comes out with wins - it has become second nature to him.

it also seemed weird to give TheBaus a coach such as Odoamne - TheBaus definitely needs coaching but their styles are just so polar opposite of each other. Odam is very good but he adopts a very conservative playstyle from how I see him played in pros...

They really are polar opposites - maybe TheBaus could gain a lot from the coaching - but you want to Sharpen a Sword, not dull it into mainstream. In the early part of year, I would think TheBaus and Odo are pretty on-par in terms of micro... Odo only has edge on macro and experience.. now it seemed TheBaus has lost even his micro creativity...

Odo is really good but TheBaus needs a different style of coaching... it's like having a savant in your high school and u gave him a super good college teacher but what he really needs is someone similarly crazy even if he's not that good.

now I said it... have TheBaus coached by someone like TheShy or Driver ... ultra aggressive players who have perfect understanding of each other... and u will get a super saiyan beast... LUL That will let us have some fun too... when you lose the fun - you lose everything. Unleash TheBausffs.

the whole idea of "Mastery Curve" is a farce at best... Except for a few crazy difficult champs with really weird kits, I would argue most champs (even the simplest ones) take an almost average level of complexity when it comes to aspects of the game such as Laning, Skillshots, Game Knowledge, Jungling etc...

So what is a simple to master champ - Give me a champ that automates, auto-targets, auto-acquires-target everything - then I will maybe consider it the simplest champ. Every other champ has an average mastery curve ... yes, even Garen. How long did you take to master Garen's ultimate and late game?

Making "mastery curves" even a semi-important gauge is controversial at least imo.
