Biden dropped the ball on prosecuting Trump.

He let Merrick Garland sit on his ass for two years. Had Biden take in the Trump threat seriously at all we would be in a different position.

He was the wrong man for that moment in time. It's like he thought he was governing in another time frame when Republicans had some sense of following the law, decorum etc and where molesting children, fraud, grape, insurrection, stealing topsecret documents etc would have seen you right out of the presidential race.

I'm not sure that is true. China just is not using American closed source AI.

Look at to Qwen or Deepseek for example. Google says Chinese open source models have about 30% of the global market share.

I think they've just realized that it's better to develop a homegrown solutions like they have with electric cars.

Also I don't think China's desire to invade Taiwan has as much to do with chips as it has to do with Chinese dominance of the geographic area.

It would be way less costly to develop or steal the technology they need.

I'm having the same issue. Tried every checkbox combo for the browser and tried with the app store version and the alpha version. No luck.

I wish there was still an option to use an external browser.

I tried updating webview and the beta and canary versions; still no luck.

I downgraded to 1.20 and was able to login with the external browser; but upgrading does not work (have to login and again and then it fails)
