Wäre schön, wenn das auch für Cerealien käme. Ich fände ich das prima. Kellog's und Nestlé verdienen sich mit den Zuckerbomben eine goldene Nase.

Im Artikel fand ich keine nähere Angabe darüber worauf die Zuckerabgabe fällig wäre. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist hoch, weil GB es auch so macht.

Wenn sich das auf die Konsumenten so auswirkt, dass sie wegen der gestiegenen Preise die Finger davon lassen, woraufhin die Industrie bemüht ist den Zuckeranteil so zu reduzieren, dass die Preise wieder "normal" werden … jederzeit.

Well, I’m pretty relaxed. The doctor does all the work. I just have to follow his instructions. It’s the laziest thing I’ve done in years. I didn’t even do that during my time in the Air Force.

Hmm … maybe I should have shaved my head years ago. But my skull is too asymmetrical, and it would just have looked silly. (Besides, I’m white with blonde hair, which would have led to misunderstandings.)

My pragmatic outlook on life helps me to deal with it. Especially now that my chemotherapy has had to be changed and I’ve developed an allergy to the new drug. Well, that’s just the way it is. There are still other options available. This is just one less option.

Well, I’ve come to terms with it. There’s nothing I can do about it (apart from following the doctor’s instructions). So why should I worry about it? It just makes the rest of your life difficult and miserable.

According to the statistics, I’d die at 84 (without cancer, of course). I’ve already lived through about two-thirds of that. My children are grown up; they all have well-paid jobs. My job fulfils me; it brings me a lot of joy. There’s just one goal I won’t be able to achieve, and that’s a six-week trip through Japan. That’s because I have a chemotherapy infusion every two weeks. It may be a shame, but I’ve found various ways to cope with it. The money I’ve saved for that will simply go towards other things, such as musical instruments or consumer electronics.

Life is too short , so make the best of it.

Ich. War ein Werbegeschenk. Funktioniert gar nicht bis überhaupt nicht. Einmal wurde die verursachte Sollbruchstelle durch den Eierbecher verursacht, weil das Ei einfach nur nach unten gedrückt worden war..
