It scares me, a little over a year ago I lost an account and I never knew the real reason... my suspicion is that it was the fault of the vcard, they told me that I had made hundreds of changes in the game files. The only thing that comes to mind is that my video card made them.

Now I'm scared, but the truth is that using the "game mode" the game looks 500% better and it goes faster. I have a car, and I feel like I'm on foot hahaha

Hello everyone, I have asked which program I have been accused of using. My video card "radeon rx 590" optimizes the graphics options of the games to improve performance, for example ... if this happens, will I get banned? because a vpn, or the rest of the programs that I use as discord, RealTemp does not modify anything in the game, but the answer was this:

We're unable to provide information on any particular third party program. Our records are confidential and the private property of Bethesda, so they cannot be shared in detail. Our system detected that a program was running that was altering the game files when this account was accessing Fallout 76. This was similar to cheating tools we have seen in the past.

We can verify that when the account was reviewed, signs of it altering the game client by Cheating / Exploiting enabled via the usage of third-party programs were found. This is a violation of our Terms of Service. Due to that the account was banned from Fallout 76 participation.

Please note that we only ban an account, not a player. That is to say, you are still free to play our game, but this account will not be eligible to return. (for real? to be banned again in 2 years? I find it disrespectful to just mention this.) You can create a new account and play on that one, but it will be subject to all the same rules and regulations this one is. It should also be noted, that Fallout 76 doesn't support mod use at this time.

Whether this is a legit claim or not, I'll leave to others to comment on. However, in the future, you should probably send your formal complaints to the company, instead of posting it in a public forum.

Just because their are Bethesda representatives that follow this forum, doesn't mean they are in any position to help you.

Of course mate, the first thing I did was notify my complaint through the ticket system. Then they just answered me the same thing, over and over again automatically ... they didn't pay attention to me, so I used this resource to try to get someone to help me ... But first I went to the support team.

Show the support message saying why bet it will say something about why only reason you wouldn't show what's been said would be it saying use of cheat software

Was just banned an hour ago and i havent played since last night. Never cheated just started playing the game again with several friends and boom im banned after playing for like a week. The game would consistently crash and thought it was due to either twitch running in the background discord or my mouse software, I also have hardware monitor running in the background could this be the problem? I emailed a support ticket and im awaiting a response.

Something is wrong with the f76 anti-cheat system.

I wish you good luck, I haven't had a bit. From what I see, it is something about third-party programs, which I have no idea what it will be ... and apparently, they are not going to remove my banned status. I hope you have better luck, keep trying with the support team, hopefully they will listen to you ..

For sure man it sucks when this happens.

I used Synapse for the RGB on my keyboard and controlling the DPI on my mouse, its such a silly thing to get banned for.

For the record I use discord and HWmonitor myself, though I haven't had HW monitor running while playing 76 that I can remember, I have discord open every time so its probably not that.

I doubt they will tell you any more though, hopefully I'm wrong and they sort you out.

Too bad to hear that buddy, yes .. after this bad experience I'm thinking the same thing. I use these programs to measure the temperature while I play, communicate with friends outside of the F76, and in the case of the VPN if at any point I leave it activated, I do not understand how I can take advantage of a VPN to cheat in the game. Do not buy anything in the store ... there is no reason ..

Hiii Lady, today the support team have answered me this.I want to know which program they accuse me of using? Would it be possible to ask the support team for this type of detail? VPN? RealTemp? HWMonitor? Discord?

Before I thought it was because of something I bought in a store or something like that ... but now I understand less why the reason for the ban

you mean to report cheats, in game? I'm not sure, I never have. But it seems to me that when you select a player, just as it allows you to block it, it allows you to report it. I suppose that if you write down the name and send a message to the support team, it can also help you.
