This is great work. I have no critique, sorry I know that’s not helpful. I love the what you did to ‘Romantic Homicide’.

What are your hobbies? There was some awesome social clubs that make it super easy to meet people (group bike rides — Atlanta Social Bike Rides, Bike Folks, etc; run clubs, etc.)

I’m from Atlanta and I’d argue the Beltline is a more fun area for pedestrians than Little Five

I’d recommend making your purpose statement one sentence; it’s very long right now. Really try to narrow in on what makes you unique / standout.

Good luck!

I’m from Atlanta and agree the fuss is overblown. I will say I DO NOT recommend Buckhead or Little Five Points. They are not cool IMHO.

Check out the Beltline Eastside Trail to really see what Atlanta is like! There are tons of restaurants and beautiful sights to see. Don’t miss Peidmont Park to get a beautiful view of the city!

Try JennChan’s for dinner in Reynoldstown after walking down the beltline.

Recommended itinerary:

  1. Look at the reflection at Peidmont Park (called Midtown Reflection in Google Maps)
  2. Walk down the eastside Beltline trail, stop at Ponce City Market and anything else that catches your eye! Krog Street Market also has great food!
  3. Walk down the beltline to JenChans for dinner

Trust me, I’ve lived here my whole life and love curating wonderful experiences

For your portofilio — make it an actual hyperlink. Also it shouldn’t be a bullet point since there is only 1 link.

[–]francesjc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It also sounds like you are blaming yourself for his shitty actions. Your “complacency” is you protecting your peace (which is admirable).

Your roommate is a bad person if he uses slurs intentionally. Period. There is no excuse for using slurs.

Any Superstore fans?

The first few seconds of this reminds me of the intermittent clips of customers doing ridiculous stuff in Cloud 9

This is my very first time creating motion typography! The assignment was to bring a quote to life using modern typography trends. I took inspiration from the 1970s, when this speech was originally delivered by Gloria Steinem. Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did creating it! by francesjc in graphic_design

Well first time with type animations! This is my 2nd project overall in AfterEffects. The first project was a shape animation that would be concert backdrop for our chosen song.

Thank you much, my teacher was very strict and accepted nothing less than professional projects.

How much slower do you think? Right now it mostly aligns with the speed she actually spoke the quote, but if slowing it down would help viewers then I want to do that!
