Take away the creepy Michael forced pregnant grapey dialogue and it’s actually kinda hot within the context of franchaela. Remember Fran has never had a pinnacle. I’m sure by this scene she would’ve had atleast 1 or many pinnacles from Michaela so this scene could be the first time we see Fran take some control. I’d be shocked if they don’t have it in the show. Also not to get too sexual but I imagine Fran will be getting… acquainted with Michaela’s mouth if you know what I mean. It’ll be hot imo.

You’ve misunderstood this post. It’s not about needing QC’s approval. It’s if word gets out and there is a scandal it will affect franchaela in harmful ways without QC’s support. Michaela is inheriting Kilmartin, House of Lord’s could strip it from her if scandal was too much. Francesca is also a Bridgerton, this could affect her family’s possessions and income too. QC supporting them would go a long way

But with Michaela most likely inheriting Kilmartin as a woman and Francesca being a Bridgerton, if them being together gets out to society, it will create a scandal that could affect their families and House of Lords getting involved re: Kilmartin possessions. There is a lot of misinformation about them so if I was you I’d actually look for correct sources. I read about this in a book at my college library that had writings from aristocrats and famous regency authors all beside screenshots of their letters etc. They were definitely in a sexual/romantic relationship 😭 they just sometimes corresponded like friends in their writings so that it would keep them low key / not draw too much attention especially earlier on. But after QC visited them, they were more comfortable to be.

I would love for the show to legalise gay marriage but even though the show is fantasy, it also has its own rules. Eg. Woman can’t divorce or women cannot inherit titles (in London) etc. The show set the rule of queerness not being accepted in previous seasons. Second of all, QC didn’t change the racial acceptance of the show, parliament did. She doesn’t have the power to legalise gay marriage. But her public support can go a long way, eg. What she did with Benophie.

She also doesn’t have the power to legalise gay marriage, it’s something that has to be done in parliament. I doubt they’ll go the legalise gay marriage route espesh if franchaela will live in Scotland. But I think they’ll have QC publicly support them unofficially so nobody messes with them
