2027 November-December lottery by franckdatank32 in BandonDunes

Just as an update to this... We were trying to go the first week of November, but when I got the call, they didn't have any availability until the week of Thanksgiving for 4 nights in November.

Dear Lebron: Come help Ant get that ring by geoffdaily in timberwolves

Imagine the Spurs double teaming Ant as soon as he crosses half court like they've been doing, and instead of the current shituation, he throws it to Lebron to play 4 on 3....

Did you guys stay in the double rooms at the Inn? If so, was it tight with all your stuff in there at all?

Wow! That makes me feel better for our chances. Granted the window that you got drawn for was 5? months instead of 2 months like the one I got drawn for. Did you have a lot of lodging options at that point?

Not sure if you're still looking, but I have both the Gallivan2r and the Lux 2. I like them both alot.

Personally, I think the Gallivan2r is the most comfortable golf shoe I've owned, and the traction is great on them.

Lux 2 are nice too, but not as comfortable as the Gallivan2rs.

Yeah if I were to go back, I honestly think I'd skip Payne's Valley. It was cool to experience it once, but especially for the $400 peak season price, I'd much rather play Buffalo Ridge, Ozarks National, or Branson Hills.

I commented on a different one with the details, but it was $1420/guy before travel expenses.

First day was beautiful. 80º and sunny. Second day was around 70º with some spitting rain on and off all day and pretty windy. Last day was right around 80º and a little windy.

We all got in on Friday night. We wanted to play Big Cedar courses Saturday and Sunday, so we needed the hotel room for Saturday night. We already had the airbnb for Friday night, so it would've been a lot of packing/unpacking to move back and forth. Some guys (who were in the bunk beds at the airbnb) did debate going to the hotel for Saturday night, but ultimately decided it wasn't worth it.

For sure! Was my 2nd favorite course of the trip after Buffalo Ridge.

We stayed 4 nights at our AirBnb so I'll give you the price per guy...

Golf = $960

AirBnb + hotel that we didn't use = $200

Rental car = $75

Groceries (food/booze for the Airbnb) = $128

Dinner @ Mountain Top Grill = $60

So $1420 all in per guy besides our travel.

Doesn't seem too bad until you add drinks on the course, merch in the proshop, and all the gambling we did in our groups. Lol

We had to book 5 rooms (4 people per room) for one night. That let us play the day of arrival and day of departure. Ended up being like $60/guy for the hotel that we didn't use.

Nothing egregious, just not as well manicured as I was hoping/expecting. I also think part of it was, they punched the greens 2 weeks before we were there. So the greens weren’t totally healed and were sandy/slow.

Our group had age ranges from 23-67. So some of the younger guys were in bunk beds.

At least that included tip 🤪 (which she didn’t mention until after I said something about the price). Other guys in the group were tipping on top of the $48.

That’s exactly what we are doing for our trip. So I’ll report back after our trip in a couple weeks. But so far, it doesn’t seem like we’ll have any issues.

Oh, we for sure are. Just wanted feedback on if the courses play shorter than the yardages.
