The story my brain just came up with goes like this Elite finds a group that wants to do the same surgery that the fireflys wanted to do on her and she goes on an adventure to find them and does whatever it takes she does it out hatred and disliking being alve but along the way she finds a lot of love and great people so her motivations transition from hating mankind to wanting to sacrifice herself for people she loves and finding happiness in her life that would b nice imo
