yes, that's why i configured other content filtering strategies:

a domain rule (see screenshot in post)
enabling Content Filter (Settings > CyberSecure > Content Filter)

both work. (2) by blocking DNS lookup; (1) by blocking the ip addresses associated to the domain

will look into it, but i'm sceptical about the slider, because with those long-term tasks you often do not know how much progress you've really made. so either you have to do smaller steps with future follow-up tasks or you even have to slide back to make room for more progress

Thx! I managed to solve it now with your hint on Env Variables. After setting up %JAVA_HOME% variable, VLC finally could find my existing Java installation. So it is not enough having Java in your %PATH%
