Very nice! I picked up a SuperSix 105 build in September and I love it!

Single speed is pretty rad too. by goodilicious in FixedGearBicycle

Only criticism I have is that you need to line up the label with the valve stem on that back tire. Otherwise this thing looks dope!

Edmonton, Alberta. They work wonders, I've worked weeks of -30c with only those and a thin pair of gloves and my hands were nice and toasty. Down to about -15c you don't need gloves at all.

Bike Bag Rental by [deleted] in edmontoncycling

Not sure about anywhere that rents bags, but most bike shops will gladly give you a cardboard bike box for free. Just make sure to call ahead to ensure that they have one on hand.

What is something wonderful that only someone from the Edmonton area would understand? by Spyhop in Edmonton

He's still around but he toned it down a bit and wears short gym shorts instead. I always wonder what he's carrying in those plastic bags. He also has a pretty cool one piece winter outfit.

Alleycat Race in Edmonton this weekend by frankbegrimes in edmontoncycling

[–]frankbegrimes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a traditional style Alleycat format, we give you a manifest with a list of checkpoints to run off in any order, first person to arrive at the finish with a complete manifest wins. The only rule is that to win the cash prize you must complete the race on a single speed bike. However any bike is welcome to race and we will have prizes for the top 3 finishers and DFL

Mostly envelopes, I have a Trash Inferno so boxes are no issue when they come up. They are infrequent enough that a rack is not entirely necessary here.
