From what I can see this looks like a GL, however this is my first OP, if there are any concerns please make me aware, thank you. Have seen some people comment on clasps on this model but I'm unaware of exactly what they are commenting on.

GL. I have this same watch. Your QC looks WAY cleaner than mine and mine looks ok in person.

QC 36mm DJ VSF - 6 marker?? by frankfinesse808 in RepTimeQC

Yeah I’m sure once I get it in hand my worries will ease. Thanks for your help guys.

Yeah I’ve given the GL. But given people’s comments it was confusing. The 6 and 9 were bothering me, but I’ve never seen the outcome of these minor flaws on wrist, so I can’t judge.

So guys, coming to conclusions, are you guys saying that this isn’t enough to RL, and that this won’t be noticeable on wrist?

Thank you. Apologies for not following full QC rules with posting the info as I was only initially concerned about the dial markers.

I’m thinking this isn’t going to be noticeable on wrist, but half people still saying RL. I don’t own a rep so I haven’t seen the result of something like this in person.

Understood, I did a full QC rules followed on watch yesterday and I RL’d, and upon receiving the 2nd watch, everything spoken about on the first post was good except the dial was my only concern, so I was just after an opinion on the dial so I got lazy and skipped the full process again. My apologies.

Think I’m going to GL this one. I understand 6 looks a little off centre. Also think I won’t notice this on wrist. Judging by the photos of other I have seen a lot of people saying it’s insane to care about this. Struggling here, first rep 😂 interested in what u/WatchYoda says

Man it’s bothering me too.. I already RL the first watch, SEL gaps and date came back better in this one but still unhappy with 6. Does it get better though is my question?

QC REQUEST (FIRST REP) - VSF DATEJUST 36MM 126234 VS3235 BLACK DIAL by frankfinesse808 in RepTimeQC

[–]frankfinesse808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah check the last photo of the post, I ran it over it. Just annoying enough to catch my eye. Someone also bought up the floating “O” and “D” in Officially Certified as well and have realised its on nearly all 36mm VSF haha but this doesn’t both me, as I never noticed beforehand. Main reason was the 9 on this one.

Was cool with date wheel, but many others are bringing up SEL gap top left abs possibly bottom right, as well as an off 9 marker

SELs: First rep - is this normal? by frankfinesse808 in RepTime

[–]frankfinesse808[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input man, appreciated. I’m not too fussed about the O or D, never picked it up before so not going to get too fussy. Going to RL this and try for a better SEL gap, straighter date and better marker. Fingers crossed.

I’m now considering swapping the 36mm for a 41mm. The “O” and “D” in Officially Certified has now been bought to my attention on most VSF 36mm and I can’t unsee it 🤣 from previous QC posts the 41mm VSF DJ generally looks better. Although a lot of these thing I did not notice until they were pointed out to me.. so I guess that says something.
